Dr Google tells me:

"To enter Thailand, foreigners are prohibited from having certain diseases, including leprosy, tuberculosis, elephantiasis, drug addiction, and the third stage of syphilis"

Can they not add mental illness to that list?  Perhaps potheads and alcoholics??

Nah - their tourist numbers would go through the floor.....  🙂

"Dutch tourist runs naked". Why is it always middle aged men running around naked, and never young attractive females?

Attractive females do too, but you have to pay them (a lot). Middle aged men do it for free :cheesy:

Young attractive females are not predisposed to being sex tourists in Thailand.

Drugs are going to destroy Thai society, Thai youth, and the Thai economy with all the weirdo falang junkies comming in.

Never a truer word been spoken.   I agree 100%.   Drugs wreck societies.   Look at Singapore as an example,  how many drug crazed kids do you see there?    none.

A Dutch tourist caused a commotion at a Krabi hotel, running around nude and shouting incoherently

Was it incoherent if you spoke Dutch?  Running around naked sounds like Ambien...

Looks like he is wearing shorts to me and this is just another attention grabbing headline that has succeeded in getting everyone ecstatic about a naked clog.

Attempts to persuade him to dress were successful before negotiating to take him to Krabi Hospital.

Got a reading problem have you @Sierra Tango.

No, why do you ask sir? I was merely looking at the photo's. Don't believe everything that you read my kind Moonlover.

Ok, so maybe you're having difficulty with the sequence of events. Dutch man runs around hotel naked. Falls down stairs and then absconds to his room.

Authorities catch up with him there and persuade him to don some shorts. Then a photo is taken showing that he's now wearing said shorts.

No justification for you to slag off the headline as  'just another attention grabbing headline'.

A clear cut case of pot laced with hallucinogens for Mr Ronald McDonald, a clown loose in the jungle.

Even the police can't resist a chuckle.

You're really against weed it seems, but don't really know much about it, as is the case of many who've never tried it. No one laces weed with hallucinogens, as they cost money, are are just sold as is.

Actually Singapore does have a drug problem with young users, even though they have a zero tolerance. People who want to use drugs will.

Drugs have been used here for decades, and it isn't from foreigners, meaning other than Asian countries, bringing it in but next door neighbors, especially Myanmar, which has the highest rate of meth use and production.
