Well standing by what you said only leaves one conclusion.

Brian, you are entitled to your opinion, conclude what you will, I know where I stand, willing to let the powers that be, make those assessments.

So let me get this right. Pro Palestinian protestors should now be all over this cheering on their brothers and the uprising against the terrorists Hamas. The silence from them is deafening. Looks lik

Correct I am and I in no way believe your claim that you've changed, the evidence in your posts makes that clear

Fine, as I said, I know where I stand, we will have to wait and see, both sides have a choice, go hard-line or make peace, up to them.

There you go again with your false equivalence, both sides have a choice.............:saai:

Ok then, what's your problem with that?

Wow..............Hamas Terrorists and Israel and you say what's my problem? There is no moral equivalence and any suggestion there is again proves you've not changed in the slightest. Hamas soul existence is to destroy Israel and you say they both have a choice.

There is only one choice, Hamas release hostages and lay down arms.

Read these again, please, 3 times I've agreed that Hamas must go and the Hostages released

Maybe I've mellowed in my old age, I just think if ever there was a time to end this ceaseless slaughter maybe this it.

This article at least shows there is some resistance to Hamas and that needs to be nurtured, get rid of Hamas, get the hostages back and open the possibility of a peaceful co-existence, It will take major compromises from both sides. I know, but where there's a will there's away.

Let's suppose the Palestinians do accept Israel's right to exist by rising up against Hamas and handing over to Israel all Hostages, Hamas personnel, weapons, and infrastructure would that change the Israeli position?

There are still over 2 million people in Gaza, without any serious dialogue nobody will ever know if there has been a sea change in there view of Israel.

After 18 years of Hamas rule by the gun and intimidation, could it be the silent majority have finally woken up to the fact that recognising Israel is the only way to stop the slaughter and occupation.

From the OP the people want change and if there is a glimmer of hope it must be treated as such by all parties concerned.

Yes, I understand that Hamas has to be driven out of Gaza and the hostages returned, but at what cost to the population in-situ, and the moral compass of Israel?

What's that got to do with your last post where you claimed they both have a choice. They don't and why  I responded to with this.

There is no them or us choice, that's the point of this OP, there's Hamas, Israel and 2 million Palestinians who are suffering untold hardship because of the other protagonists.

Hamas laying down their arms, releasing the hostages and your happy, I think not, never going to happen, I think we can agree on that.

If the rest of the Palestinians in Gaza, whether they supported Hamas or not force Hamas out and secure the hostages, is that good or bad?

You're contradicting yourself now, pointless

Not wanting to wave a red flag at a bull, but the question of War Crimes and Genocide will be more justifiable if this carries on much longer, especially after these latest days of protests from within Gaza.

Not much more can be done about those allegations .

There has already been trials and arrest warrants and people have been shouting GENOCIDE for the last 18 months .

The fact of the matter is there is now some opposition in Gaza to Hamas, the World can see that, now if Israel now go back to full on military action as they were doing prior to the last peace deal it doesn't look good, 50,000 dead and counting, still leaves over 2 million left, what is to happen with them?

I read that Israel are looking for Courtiers who will accept them , Somalia has been mentioned

What more are you going to do ?

Nothing, not my problem, I'm more than willing for the powers that be to sort that one out.

Well, what more are THEY going to do about it ?

Already had a ICJ Court case and new arrest warrants been issue .

What more can they do ?

"as far as I'm concerned whatever Hamas does is lawful and above board"

Could be that Hamas have nearly been defeated and so you are distancing yourself from them .

Hamas has been defeated , so Israel should talk with another group of Palestinians , who will then attack Israel again at the first opportunity.

Why do the Israelis need to keep on helping the Palestinians all the time ?

Taking hostages is a war crime

When will the Palestinians be held accountable for their continuous war crimes ?

All those involved with taking and holding hostages need to face justice .

Life in jail or execution .

These Palestinian war criminals cannot evade justice

This OP, is clearly showing that over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza are fed up with Hamas and the other Terrorists, surely even you with your clear bias/hatred of anything Palestinian can see this has to be encouraged to bring an early end to this war as soon as possible, not only for the sake of the Palestinian non-combatants in Gaza, but also for the sake of all the Hostages held by these Hamas Terrorists.

Stop it, it does not show that at all, try reading it. Nowhere is it making it clear over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza are fed up with Hamas and the other Terrorists.

"In an rare display of dissent, armed groups in Gaza have called for a mass uprising against Hamas, challenging the group’s authority for the second consecutive day. Protesters took to the streets demanding an end to the ongoing war and what they described as an end to years of oppression under Hamas rule.

A coalition of influential families, commonly referred to as the "clans," issued a rare and direct call to arms on Wednesday, urging Palestinians to stand against what they called “years of oppression.” These families have historically wielded significant power in Gaza, although Hamas has largely controlled them since taking over from the Palestinian Authority 18 years ago.
