When I did a mock run with the TDAC, I put country of residencee: Australia (even though I live in Thailand).

In turn for phone number it auto filled had +61.

That's country code for Oz.

I tried to change it to Thailand+66 and it didn't like that. (maybe it was me)

Anyway I subsequently put a random Oz cell #.

No problem.

Do you expect they plan to give you a bell to say hi.

I had no issue with a Thai number.

In any event I plan to put my country of residence my passport country and phone # just a random Oz number.

BTW in your screenshot the fields are made up replies? (fictitious)

I tried my mock run both on pc and tablet.

And noticed something.

When I did it on PC, I could enter Thai country code(66).

But in case of the tablet, it didn't take country code; instead, I needed to enter my Thai number including the first 0.

Does this mean that we'll no longer have to do the first 90 day report upon reentering the country in person? I.e. is this system linked to the system for TM47 reports?

Why would an entry form negate the need to do a report 90 days later? The TDAC and 90 day report aren't related at all.

You're missing the point.  The Immigration arrival system used to be linked to the 90 day reporting system, so Immigration would know when a 90 day report was due, and one could do the report online.  They "upgraded" their systems sometime ago, and the link was broken.  Since then the first 90 day report after reentering the country has to be done in person, which is a pain.  I'd rather hoped that with the new system the link would be restored and one would be able to do such reports again online.

I filled the TDAC in on the 05/04/2025 and submitted it.

Received an email almost instantly.

It works well.

Have you read the thread.

The TDAC can only be applied for up to 3 days prior to and till flight or entry to Thailand.

So you basically have 3 day window

It is correct that an error message should pop up, but in your case the text of the message is wrong and it confused me, too, the first time I saw it because I had forgotten that the online TDAC form can be submitted only within a limited period prior to the arrival date. It should say something like "Please fill in this form not earlier than three days before your arrival". Perhaps even better, it should give you the actual date, "... not earlier than 4 May 2025"

I protest strongly  about the 3 day rule.....What difference would it make if it was 3 days or 3 months ahead of time?......The last 2-3 days before a flight it would be super easy to forget to do this when your busy with other things.....The 3 day rule has failure written all over it...

You can do it after arriving too; just as it was possible to get a TM6 form at immigration if you didn't get it on the flight. It will, of course, mean that you will spend more time in the airport before you are able to go through immigration.

Good to know that they still retain old form.

As online error(unable to access site) sometimes can happen.

While preparing for overseas travel, there are quite a few things to make sure.

So, a lot better if the prospect traveler can do it well before the arrival date.

Unsure it may be changed for the better in the future though.

If you cannot submit in advance

Travellers who are unable to complete the TDAC before arrival and do not have internet access at the point of entry will be assisted at designated help points located at immigration checkpoints. This assistance is intended for exceptional circumstances only. All travellers are strongly encouraged to complete the TDAC online in advance to avoid delays and reduce congestion at entry points.

Aseannow is hardly a credible source. The Immigration site says "the system is now available", no indication it is a beta version.

What gets said will happen and what does is not always the same.

Time will tell, that always does.

And do you think departure information can also be skipped if it will still be optional in the tdac final version of 28th April? Even if you would come with a tourist visa?

Yes, I think so,

It's live testing.  Rather than pay somebody to do it they simply have to read this forum to know what works and what doesn't.

Sorry, your quote it seemingly irrelevant.  My query was about doing the first 90 day report after reentering the country in person.  I hate wasting hours of my life driving to Chaengwattana for a process that only takes a few minutes.

TDAC most likely make no difference.

You could try 90 reporting using mail option as alternative to in person
