The US seem to think they have big guns and the the strongest country in the world however I think in the span of history they have a very short memory.
Without the English, there likely wouldn’t be a United States, at least not the one we know today. From the original 13 colonies to the foundations of law, language, and governance, much of America’s early structure came from English roots. Even the Declaration of Independence was written in reaction to English rule, so in a way, England indirectly gave the U.S. both its start and opportunity for independence (You're welcome) we don't have an English independence day from the US just yet
