Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system is online (but not announced as starting yet)
The name field only accepts characters A-Z. This would appear to be to keep Elon Musk's children out of the country since neither Exa Dark Sideræl or X Æ A-Xii is permissible. It would also bar all Europeans with umlauts, tildes and accents in their names. -

One Dead, One Seriously Injured in Motorbike Collision with Pickup Truck
Picture from responders. A motorbike rider was killed and his passenger seriously injured after a high-speed collision with a pickup truck at a traffic light junction in Bang Lamung, Chonburi late night, on 1 April. At 23:30, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Centre received reports of a crash at the junction, near the Cholchan Resort. Rescue teams, along with investigating officers from Bang Lamung Police Station, rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, emergency responders found debris scattered across the road, including shattered glass and motorcycle parts. A heavily damaged pink-and-black Honda Click motorbike, registered in Chonburi, lay in the middle of the road. Nearby, an unidentified Thai male, estimated to be 30–40 years old, was found unconscious in a pool of blood with a broken jaw and facial injuries. Medics administered emergency treatment before transporting him to Pattaya Patmakhun Hospital in critical condition. A short distance away, police discovered the body of Nirut Nuchplian, 48, who had suffered fatal head injuries. Rescue workers covered the body with a white sheet and secured the area for investigators. The second vehicle involved, a grey Isuzu D-Max pickup truck sustained front-end damage, with a shattered windshield and a crushed left-side bumper. The driver, a man identified only as Arthit, aged 30, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Arthit recounted that he had been driving along Sukhumvit Road towards the red-light junction when the motorbike suddenly changed lanes, cutting in front of his vehicle in an attempt to switch to the right-hand lane. Unable to brake in time, his pickup collided forcefully with the motorbike. CCTV footage from a nearby building captured the impact, showing the pickup truck striking the motorbike at high speed. The motorbike skidded over 20 metres before coming to a halt. Police investigators are reviewing the footage to determine the precise cause of the collision. The deceased’s body has been transferred to Pattaya Patmakhun Hospital, where relatives will be contacted to make funeral arrangements. -- 2025-04-02 -
