I once looked at Brand's show to see what the fuss was about. I found him a terrible comedian and an embarassment.

However, there's no denying that he was magnetic in attracting women, an entertaining conversationlist and never boring.

But as comedy goes, very poor for my taste.

I disliked him in the early years, I was travelling Australia, when I came back to work the UK summer he was everywhere, thought he was a <deleted>, however some 15yrs later I looked at him with a different POV, ATJvery knowledgeable, amazing vocabulary and a very funny & dry British sense of homour. I haven't followed him for the last 6 months, but used to regularly, A Very funny guy. Since this thread I will make a point of reconnecting now, and will fully support him with this BS case.

Yes, push posse or pussy... you are far from their teenager demographic, lets not forget that before the  answer phone message....shed already shagged brand multiple times, she was in a Gothic rock band with a questionable name, and danced around barely clothed....

He reminds me of Noam Chomsky .

They just use lots of long words and people who don't understand the words come to the conclusion that they must be really clever and listening to them speak means that they are really clever as well

Yes, he is an amazing conversationalist, fearless and entertaining, and I think that was part of why women loved him. He was never boring and always unpredictable.

I agree his later insights were profound at times, but I still never found him funny.

Yes, and my answer is the same as the the other two times .

It doesn't matter who she was or what she did or what her band was called , its unacceptable for Brand to tell her Grandfather about their sexual activities live on air in a phone call .

Brand was humiliating the grandfather for entertainment live on air .

Its Brands abusive  personality that is the issue

It just shows Brand's disregard for norms, who would do such a thing for his personal gratification?

Whilst this kind of behaviour no doubt contributed to his popularity with the women, it is also why I think he probably did rape all those women.

He thinks society's norms and rules don't apply to him.

He didn't do it in the main for gratification. It was more for adoration and that makes it even sadder taking into account the content of the phone messages.

To all intents women were literally throwing themselves at him. Even before he was rich.

That can cause issues when so many woman are attracted to you and are available .

You get the impression that all woman are available and that you can have anyone you want whenever you want .

Like people spending lots of time in Pattaya bars groping woman and then start groping 7/11 girls , because its the normal thing for them to do

Alas no, the prosectution hardly has to prove anything. It will be "victim should be believed", period.

You obviously do not understand how jurisprudence works in the UK.

A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

English law demands the Crown Prosecution Service prove sexual assault beyond reasonable doubt—Brand’s innocent until May 2, 2025, or later if convicted. No bail issues; he’s free in Florida unless extradited. But 20-year-old allegations strain it—memory’s shaky, physical evidence is gone. The CPS still has to build a case, not Brand.

It's so true, constant availability of females really messes with your brain. Once I spent 3 days straight in bed with a girl making love, I was 18 then, and then we went to visit her parents. This was a country where you do the two kisses as a greeting. I was so used to 3 days straight of non-step sex I almost put my tongue in the mother's ear, only by the Grace of God could I stop myself. She was ugly as hell, it was just a reflex from the kissing. The 3 days in bed having sex had messed with my head.

My reply is the same again .

It doesn't matter what her stage presence was , we are talking about Brand phoning her grandfather and telling him that he "f***ed her*.

That is the behaviour in question .

That was a one off for both brand and Ross, no, i wasn't offended by it, I thought it in poor taste.

On the actual night it got 2 complaints, it wasn't until the media ran the story on Monday that it blew up and was talked about on every channel, by Friday it had 36000 complaints, People were 'disgusted & outraged' even though they hadn't listened to it and didnt have any idea what was actually said.

Jonathon Ross Saturday radio show used to get around 4million listeners, but he got suspended due to 36000 complaints from people that never even hear what has been said.

You mean I do understand how jurisprudence works in the UK. A male person is presumed guilty as per the court of the lynching circuit (public opinion).

In the old days when good sense and good justice prevailed, 20-year-old allegations would not only be thrown out of court, they would not even be considered by police or the prosecution. Even nowadays, when there's no male sex involved (no gold-digging wymmyn), you get rebuffed if you lodge a complaint with the police 20 years after your house was broken into.

Anyone still banging on about how these four women are just financially motivated, trying to profit off him, blah blah blah, it’s complete idiocy. This is a criminal case being brought by the state. In criminal cases, there is no financial payout. It’s not a civil suit, it’s not personal. The only possible outcome is jail time. That’s it. That’s the “reward.”

So for all of you pearl-clutching clowns insisting this is about money, do yourselves a favor, crack open a book or two and learn how the criminal justice system actually works. And no, he can’t just pay them off and make this disappear. That’s not how this works either. The more you foolishly push that angle, the more you show how ignorant you are and how little you understand, and frankly, you’re just embarrassing yourselves.

Duh! The money is in books about it and being on tv talking about it. Also they get their 15 minutes of fame.

If you want people to take you seriously, stop saying nonsense like "people spending lots of time in Pattaya bars groping woman and then start groping 7/11 girls , because its the normal thing for them to do".

That's so silly that one wonders if you have ever even been in a Pattaya bar, let alone have any proof that farangs are groping girls in 7/11s.

You should get a job with a British Red Top paper that spouts BS about Pattaya.

You seem to have missed the point .

As Russell Brand was used to females throwing themselves  at him and making themselves available , that may have led him to believe that ALL girls were fair game and available (especially added to his drug usage ) .

Like other guys who spend all their time in Pattaya bars coming to  the conclusion that ALL Thai Females are available for prostitution .

There has been a few stories of foreigners groping non bar girls in Pattaya

I assume all women that come alone into my bedroom are consenting.

What else could they be expecting to happen?

Why else would I invite them there?

Yeah, I know RooshV was slammed for saying this, but it's a reasonable assumption.

Keep out of my bedroom if you don't consent to sex!

As for bars in Thailand, I have never touched a woman that didn't touch me first.

Usually they put their hand on my inner thigh, in which case it's game on.

Don't know about 7-11 as none of the girls in there ever groped me.

Don't know if ALL Thai women are up for sex, but the ones that grope me first ........

Not quite sure what the guys wearing a dress that grope me when I'm walking along the road want!

On another front, 25 years back someone stole some apples from a tree in my garden.

I can't remember the exact date, but it was probably Autumn.

If I can find another person (or two or three) they stole apples from, will the police prosecute?

Is our joint word good enough for a conviction, if not, why not?

We are talking about Russell Brand though .

Russell Brand allegedly followed Females into public toilets and assaulted them after locking them in .

Is there an independent witness or a photograph or CCTV of that?

Or does a female saying that make it true?
