Right.  It was sarcasm.  Physical barriers are meaningless here.

 

There is a solution:  Education and......ta-dah!.......ENFORCEMENT.

    Drivers of motor vehicles in Thailand have zero respect for pedestrians. This is a huge problem that the government will not address.
