Okay you go into the Phuket showroom and ask for the same, exactly equivalent Harley-Davidson  CVO "Road Glide" ST model.
In the US it's coming in at US$ 45,000,  1,557,972 THB .
Here in Phuket it is US$ 90,958,  3,153,000 THB
That's a 102% tariff that Thailand is charging.

Okay you're going to argue about the postage, shipping costs and a multitude of additional expenses, but even taking these and all the others charges into account, that's still one hell of an increase in Thai tariffs.

You're talking about one targeted segment of the economy only.

The normal not insane way that countries often do use tariffs.

The overall averaged Thai tariff on US imports is MUCH LESS than the 36 percent Trump has imposed which insanely isn't even based on tariffs reciprocal or otherwise.

So not you have NOT made a case for Trump's Tax Tariffs for Thailand or anyplace else.

Unless you think that Thais should buy as much American fish sauce as Americans buy Thai fish sauce.

Yes   same  with lots of other  stuff  not just from the US,   I got charged 35% duty on a pair of shoes sent from the UK     wine and alcohol is still also heavily taxed even though there was supposed to be a trade agreement with neighbouring countries  I was really looking forward to some dark beer Lao at a price comparable to the Thai beer  but its still  too expensive even if you can find it

(because its too expensive no one buys it so they don't stock it)
