A pick-up truck transporting construction workers skidded off a hill road in Kamala, Phuket, on the morning of 12 April, miraculously only leaving one person seriously injured.

Pol. Col. Anurak Parinyasathirakun, Superintendent of Kamala Police Station, confirmed that the accident occurred at approximately 10:20 in Moo 6, Kamala Subdistrict, Kathu District. Emergency responders from Kamala Rescue Service were first on the scene and notified authorities.

Initial investigations revealed that the vehicle, registered from Phuket, was being used to transport construction workers to a local villa project. It was reportedly only the second day on site for the crew when the truck driver lost control and slid off the steep private road within the villa property.
