FlorC Posted yesterday at 01:31 AM Posted yesterday at 01:31 AM Out on bail ? The crowd should have administred quick justice.
Zakhar Posted yesterday at 01:33 AM Posted yesterday at 01:33 AM Pickup Truck Ploughs Through .... hummmmm.

WDSmart Posted yesterday at 01:40 AM Posted yesterday at 01:40 AM The actions of both the driver and the crowd were appalling.
Sydebolle Posted yesterday at 01:41 AM Posted yesterday at 01:41 AM They should have lynched him. Impound and auction off the car, lock him up and throw away the keys. But it will be the 500 Baht deal again and nobody talks about it next week already 😞 1
Jack Hammer Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM As a guess, I would say the driver was impatient and wanted to get through the crowd, not thinking rationally he revved up the engine and tried to drive through them
Colki Posted yesterday at 02:11 AM Posted yesterday at 02:11 AM Gottfrid.... when you are sitting in the back of a baht bus and people on the sidewalk throw buckets of water inside I do not think you can say please do not . I have had respect from thais requesting not to throw water but foreigners a very different story, even cross the road to throw water at you, idiots. 1 1
Luuk Chaai Posted yesterday at 02:17 AM Posted yesterday at 02:17 AM The driver was eventually rescued from the mob by authorities and taken into custody...... is said to have only minor injuries. probably no bouncers or ladyboys in the mob ... the cops should have waited another minute or two 1 1

I am ambivalent about Songkran but, because I don't see any fun in it, I avoid it like the plague. Water throwing revelers brought Buriram to a complete standstill the other night. There were several ambulances, emergency lights flashing, trying to do their job but could get nowhere. In these circumstances I find it not difficult to understand the frustration and anger felt by some who need to travel through towns for any reason. Revelers should limit their activities so that non-revelers can drive unimpeded to get where they might wish to go. Whilst understanding the anger of some motorists, there is no way I can find any sympathy for whatever happens to a driver who deliberately drives into crowds no matter how thoughtless and inconvenient the behaviour of such crowds is. 1 2
black tabby12345 Posted yesterday at 02:27 AM Posted yesterday at 02:27 AM an enraged crowd of over a hundred people drag the driver from the vehicle and beat him severely before police arrived. The driver’s motives remain unclear, but according to onlookers, he appeared to deliberately speed into the crowd. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The driver intentionally charged the car into the crowd? Looks like village justice served on the spot. Instant Karma. 2 1
