More conspiracy theories are not at all.   They are truths denied by authorities, to stop us becoming intrigued; and then investigating further.

No denying that. Long-term general optimism does not preclude short-term strategic adaptation.

i was actually thinking of the waste of time trying to convince others on these "forums" . I (rarely) give it a shot, actually mainly just to exercise my brain a bit . Good at my age.

Well, since these are times where many have little meaningful human interaction in their days..... i guess forums do partially fill that void .

Still..... I do want to warn others that exposure to constant bickering can lead to that dreaded modern day disease : Debaticitis .

Thanks! That part of your New Years resolution gave me a Big Grin of recognition.

I will also make it part of my 2026 resolution, although ignoring obnoxious stupidity and malice is easier said than done.

Nah, I predict Trans Am will continue to get under your skin in 2026.

And the worst news is the guy is repeatedly on the Top weekly posters list, one of the most prolific posters on here.

A world-spanning collectivist program devised by the World Economic Forum. "You will own nothing and be happy" is the infamous slogan. Also tied to The Great Reset, which was a very interesting and telling book written by Klaus Schwab.

That's a tired old chestnut - it was a talk by a Danish politician about possibilities in the future and how people will rent more in a sharing economy. Speech was made in 2016. Not a policy by some dark force behind the WEF or similar. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You%27ll_own_nothing_and_be_happy#:~:text=%22You'll%20own%20nothing%20and,for%20many%20of%20their%20needs.

The guys who show such malice ....... it's hard to ignore.....but i am getting better at it

I'm gonna try to be more tolerant of the clearly mentally ill posters.

That's a good idea.

But mental illness might be the most contagious disease of all. Much more than Covid.

An interesting discovery is that there is a very clear correlation linking those slightly skewed members to the "top posters" scoreboard . 🙃

Ah, right…

Yeah, it's pathetic and I will always cut it short fairly quickly, lest we regress to our kindergarten years (ironically, those involved are always the self-described 'adults in the room').

Debaticitis 😆

It was official WEF policy, published in 2018. A friendly reminder below.

Also, I recommend reading Schwab's book The Great Reset (online PDF version below). Published in April 2020, the book outlined how Covid was a 'great opportunity' to implement world-spanning collectivism, institutionalised government subsidies and mass automation.

Klaus is such a reactive guy, isn't he? Devising, drafting and publishing these guidelines in the space of three months amidst total chaos… Only a conspiracy theorist would dare to think there could be some degree of pre-planned deployment there.

Excerpts:

The broader point is this: the possibilities for change and the resulting new order are now unlimited and only bound by our imagination, for better or for worse. […] You get the point: we should take advantage of this unprecedented opportunity to reimagine our world, in a bid to make it a better and more resilient one as it emerges on the other side of this crisis.

How will this expanded role of governments manifest itself? A significant element of new “bigger” government is already in place with the vastly increased and quasi-immediate government control of the economy.

In 2016, two academics from Oxford University came to the conclusion that up to 86% of jobs in restaurants, 75% of jobs in retail and 59% of jobs in entertainment could be automatized by 2035.

It is true that in the post-pandemic era, personal health and well-being will become a much greater priority for society, which is why the genie of tech surveillance will not be put back into the bottle.

I think he is making it fairly obvious that it was pre-planned. He is not even trying hard to hide it.

I notice you and your friends haven't addresses the comment that 1 billion people will be displaced by climate change.

You seem to be far more bothered that you had to be quarantined for a few months than the lives of a billion people being upended.

Rather selfish, no?

That's why the elites just take matters into their own hands without checking in with the average person. Because the average person is only interested in their own selfish needs.

Yeah, you need to be careful.

They are trying to kill you with the jabs.

Why would they tell you that they are concerned about 1 billion people being displaced through climate change if they were bloodthirsty murderers trying to kill everyone?

Do you not see how stupid your conspiracy is yet?

The 'Climate Change' dogma and its premise are identified as a hoax by the leaders who matter. As mentioned earlier, we are changing eras.

Not an official WEF policy - seems like a light hearted video making predictions about what might be in the future - this one came, as I said, from a talk from a Danish politician in 2016.

It appears you could be suggesting that some parties may have been behind the pandemic and at the same time the timely release of these ideas for some nefarious end. Well I guess the plan failed.

The term 'The Great Reset' has a bad ring to it but many of its ideas were consistent with the plan to - collaboratively shape a more resilient, equitable, and sustainable world.

Not saying these rich folk should be necessarily trusted or have all of our best interests at heart - but can't see that using that term in a way to suggest the WEF had some dark plan is reasonable. There are many nasty things happening in plain view in this world without having to look at things from 5 to 10 years ago and join dots that aren't likely there.

We have to be good at independent thinking, we have to use our brains to discern what feels correct and what doesn't, we have to use experience to discern which media outlets are credible and which aren't, and we always have to take into mind the bias that's inherent within nearly every source for news.

And we have to work really hard to avoid falling into rabbit holes. With many people, once they got attached to a theory, it is hard to get them detached. They’d screen out unhelpful facts, invent favorable ones, and ignore contradictions in their own claims. Look at those Sandy Hook, multiple fraud convictions, and Jan. 6th truthers, babbling about false flags and crisis actors and all the rest. When people were motivated enough to believe something, they were going to believe it no matter what. There was no such thing as a bridge too far.

@save the frogs Here 4 threads posted 6 to 12 months ago on the Off-the-Beaten-Track sub-forum, which make it clear that the Climate Change narrative is a fraud/hoax/con/lie, which has been rammed through for the profitable agenda behind it.

It did fail indeed.

The backlash was strong, so the WEF stopped using this talking point so explicitly. Just as it changed the 'Global Government Summit' to 'Global Governments Summit'. It goes to show that if people pay attention and let them know they are not on board, they are forced to rein in their hubris.

Very good, yes. Many of us often use quotes, however though link for a news attribution is a prerequisite, I do not believe that we always have to use an attribution for a quote. Are you simply a letter of the law type of guy? Why are you simply having a rough day?

There's a difference between adding quotes to your posts and embedding them as if you had written them yourself.

I miss the old Mike.

Now hates Trump

If Trump disappeared, he'd soon be posting hate about someone else.

All some people can do is hate!

Any conspiracy you want to bring up is allowed ..... many, not just the jabs, are being discussed here.

You seem to think that there is some groupthink going on, well, just a conspiracy theory in your mind. You post a lot of rediculous stuff.... and seem obsessed with this area of the forum.

Using the word "stupid" does not make you smart, sir . Just post your views like anyone else . Climate change is a big, fat, farce. That is my view.

You are being laughed at sir ...... instead of your ranting and raving ad hominem attacks on DT , you decided to post something well- written ( though you have shown extreme bias in almost all your posts) .

Then.....lo and behold : NOT EVEN YOUR WORDS ! 😂
