I'd prefer a middle finger emoji.  I usually use the "sad" emoji when something is actually sad. People or pets getting hurt.  If people say stupid stuff imho, I tend to default to a "laughing" emoji and I make a comment.

I've read many books on narcissism, and don't need AI to understand what it's all about. My ex is a covert narcissist, Trump is a malignant narcissist and some here are combative narcissists. Corey Wayne, author of 3% Man, is a malignant narcissist, taught by his own family (his words) how to be one. He thinks 97% of men are weak betas and alphas are the ones a woman should mate with because they have better genes. He's a millionaire weirdo, funded by other narcissists and clueless women who have sex with bad boys, actually thinking they'll stick around, because they fall for their BS time and again, and think the moral beta male is a loser. Alpha males aren't born but taught, how to get over on others in a discreet way. There are countless beta males who not only take care of their families, but are strong men, fully capable of knocking alpha males in the dirt. This is the alpha narcissists. Personally, I am wholly unaffected by any negative emoji. Possibly the reason being, that there are a few characters who will do it out of spite and personal enmity. So it cannot be taken seriously as a form of feedback.

The ones that do get upset over it are, I suspect, lacking in other areas of their lives.

If you have positive reinforcement around you, what does it matter when someone who knows little to nothing about you decides to post a negative emoji?

I only give positive reinforcement as that what I have in my life.
