He's actually right. Genes have some to do with metabolism, but most people that are overweight have been eating too much or a bad diet for too long. My family all had slow metabolisms and whoever ate wrong put on weight. Skipping meals, especially breakfasts, has people eating more later. Eating healthy, frequent small portioned meals will never have a person get fat.
I just wear cargo pants with zippered pockets. Backpack has Water, snacks, tissues, foam earplugs and are not desirable for a thief so never been stolen anywhere in the world.
