One of my cousins is an infectious disease specialist. He spent the entirety of his professional career dealing with viruses.  He's on the faculty at a major medical school in New York.  He's a well known expert.  I could post more than a few YouTube videos of people interviewing him. 

 

Anyway, I haven't talked to him for years, so I don't know what he thinks about the COVID thing.  My guess its that even he was fooled at first.  People have been conditioned to "trust the science."  Even doctors fall for it.  It's a recipe for disaster.  If there are people at the top with bad intentions, bad things can happen.
