And most men today will not fit that criterion, so women choose not to marry and not to have children. The Russian Federation is actually a Russian Empire, where a particularly ethnicity (the slavic Russian) lords it over colonised peoples. It's the last empire from WW1 to be dissolved.

 

There are areas of the Russian Empire where the Rus are not in the majority. Its from these areas that the fascist dictator Putin is drawing most conscripts from. These are the poorest and most oppressed regions.

Notably, Chechenya gets an opt out. Early on, Kadyrov's Chinese equipped troops, the so-called TikTok warriors were visible, indulging in some ISIS-like tactics, but largely ineffective. As Kadyrov's health wanes, (he might be dead), they have been withdrawn, I suspect in COIN operations.

 

Russia pays billions in tribute to Kadyrov, in the hope he doesn't kill off the remaining Russians in Chechenya.

 

Putin's visciious war against Ukraine merely weakens the control from the centre, hastening the demise of the Russian Federation. Unlike 30 years ago, Russia hasn't got much of an army left now; its used up its good kit, and is dependant on minorities, convicts, pressganged Ukrainians, Syrians, Koreans and Bangladeshi students.

How is it in Russia's best interest to kill off the men in one of its vassal states?  What do they have then? A bunch of dependent females?  

 

There's no doubt that the Soviet Union was an "empire."  Not unlike the US empire.  That's the way it was and that's the way it continues to this day.  Not unlike 30 year ago, when even then, they couldn't hold things together.  What has changed?

 

And yes, the war against Ukraine may weaken what remains of the Russian empire.

It is absolutely the case that women prioritise money. They actually select men based on whether their lifestyle is "exciting", in other words, can he go to fancy resorts, restaurants, can he buy me LV bags, etc etc, they prioritise this over loyalty, kindness and intelligence, research has found. Those last three are "nice to haves", but women want the man with the successful and exciting lifestyle, ie the money. That's why billionaire novels sell so well for women and why 50 Shades of Grey" has a billionaire protagonist, like so many chicklit novels. Women select based on money, they want the resources. Nowhere is this more apparent than in Thailand, where women abandon their own kind, their own people, and seek out foreigners from another land, whose language they don't speak, just for the money.

 

People say women go for jerks, but they don't, they go for what they deem attractive, ie guys with a great lifestyle, ie who have a lot of money, and it just so happens that those guys often are jerks. Women don't select for it, it's an incidental quality of guys who have obtained a lot of money usually.

 

Not always do women seek resources of course, if a surfer dude is dead attractive, he'll do for the night. But for long term, the dude better have a good lifestyle. ie money.

I'm rooting for the Russian economy to crater.  But,  I've been hearing the economy is on the ropes for years.

Yeah they don't have any washing machines  or ball bearings for their trains

but they seem able to stand toe to toe with what the US and NATO has thrown at them through their proxy for the past couple of years ,doomed indeed..they have no trade deals with BRICS countries and are a total world wide pariah..their oil and gas is also running out  they have no natural resources  etc etc etc

One of my friends lived down the street from some guy who was a Chippendale's dancer (a stripper for women).  Anyway, the guy's day job was in construction.  Women would hang around his house, waiting for him to come home. One day, my friend ended up talking to one of the girls hanging around. As it turned out, she was an anesthesiologist with a likely income of over $500K.

Attraction is everything. Women select based on attraction. Whilst money and lifestyle are one major attraction for women, physical good looks can also hit the spot if the guy is truly blessed genetically and has the body and the face.

Androcide is a classic form of genocide. It eliminates a threat and the next genration. ISIS killed the men, but kept Yazidi women alve. In Yugoslavia, it was men and boys that were killed off.  In Rwanda, men were specifically targeted and women were to be raped. During the Armenian genocide, it was males that were systematically killed. Gengis Khan kicked it all off when he ordered the killing of all Tatars "taller than a linchpin".

 

Putin as an ultranationalist and Slavic supremicist. He frequently quotesm Ilyin and Dugin. His ideology has been described as "Ruscism". My point was obvious. What motivates Putin, and why he won't stop this war. History is a series of interconnected events, but ultimately, we are seeing the final death throes of the Russian Empire, as it seeks to eat itself from the inside, in pursuance of racial purity (another reason to attack Ukraine; more servile Slavs). Russia is destroying itself, because of a lack of national self-confidence, because ultimately, the Russian Federation is not a real country, consisting of united peoples.

 

Putin sees his core support as being among the Slavs. Non-Slavic peoples are of no consequence to him; these people only exist to serve the slavs. At the same time, by not invoking mass mobilisation, he avoids the emergence of opposition to the war. He is aware that the Soviet retreat from Afghanistan was not because of Mujahadeen success on the battlefield, or American arms supplies. It was because of the Mothers' Committees; a ground swell of popular resentment against losses (also proving the myth of Soviet indefatigability).

 

He won't stop because of mounting losses; the losses are inconsequential, and help his other problems (getting rid of non-slavs). He is confident that there is enough meat among what he sees as inferior races, to fend off any serious oppostion. However, he has built a kleptocratic state, where your success is measured by how much you can steal. And Putin is the biggest thief. The Russian War Industry has supercharged this theft. These Russian arms companies aren't like Western Arms companies, in that they have no shareholders, and they are run by essentially psychopaths. Life is good for these men.

 

I'm confident that a break up of the Russian empire, and the emergence of a confident Muscovy Republic, which has a rich literary history, will allow it to take its place alongside other European countries, getting rid of this twisted self-identity as a "Eurasian" country. They might stop acting like Berkshure Hunts.

If you are gonna ride a Porsche down on Fig, you will probably get shot after the girl raises her rate because you have a nice car.
