Zillions of "cabins" available in rural Thailand. For very little money. For internet access one may have to pay for. Internet is essential unless you want to die of boredom.

Single Farangs are expected to marry a local beauty. If not, you remain a "foreighn object" renting a cheap "cabin".

That road is bananas to drive up if you had a motorbike but would suck on car cause it's so narrow. I saw some women bungalows you could rent.
