maybe because the government used to tattoo people to show their citizenship (for taxation purposes).

What are you talking about? When was this?

back in the U.S.  "you" would be shocked by all the higher ups at  USG/National Gyp/ and wall streeters are inked up .....

Under those suits and ties are some pretty normal people

Yes i was shocked the other day when i saw the tatts on Pete Hegseth the US Secretary of Defence.

I admit that I don't like tattoos, and I find heavily tattooed women a major turn off.

They are a current fashion, give it a few years and it will fade.

See what I did there?

That's BS. Facts are different. Around 22% only. So the idiots are the minority.

Why is that that most tourists and expats, men and women. Farangs, asians or else do have tattoos?

It's clearly the influence of p0rn videos, legal marihuana and red bull mixed with cigarettes and cheap rice liquor.

The tattoos will not fade unless you undergo treatment.

Why shocked? It represents his low IQ.

Because, unlike you it seems, I am very familiar with educated upper middle/upper class attitudes.

How are you familiar with them? Through Yellow Press only I suppose 😊

I am almost certain these tattooed people will have a very low IQ, they are nothing more than sheep who follow the flock and with very little brains. Will you see well educated people in good jobs following the flock? I very much doubt it.

Same applies to the shirtless, big bellied, big titted brigade.

How can you be "almost certain" about people having a very low IQ with tattoos? How many people with tattoos have you actually seen tested for IQ? So many here that assume they know much about other people when you actually know very little about anyone. Why would people follow a flock to have a tattoo? It would seem they see tatts on others and think that might be something they would like.

I personally don't have any, never felt a want for one, but all my children, who have well above average IQ's, have them, along with my dad, who had a genius level IQ, so that kinda ruins your theory.

Another thing you can't see is tattoos people have when fully dressed, as many have tatts which don't show that way. I have worked out in countless gyms in a few countries and states, trained in them, for 50 years, and this is when you see people in the locker rooms. You'd be very surprised how many professionals who have tatts. Doctors, lawyers, police, firemen, etc. One thing I have noticed, which isn't related, is how many professionals don't know how to flush a toilet bowl after they use it, but that's another story.

As far as the big bellied, big titted brigade you see, these are people who had high paying jobs and retired, especially if you're referring to those here. That they didn't want to or didn't care to eat properly was their deal, as many love to eat and don't care about the consequences. It's always better not to assume, because that actually shows a dent in intelligence, preferring to guess instead of going by facts.

You're a complete nitwit.

No, it shows his penchant for body art, which isn't correlated with intelligence.

Now it's really High Time to see a shrink. Hopefully only outpatient?😱

It is correlated with toughness though. Rather painful.

You wouldn't choose them on the basis of tattoos obviously or even exclude them if one surprisingly turned up.But the vast majority of doctors, lawyers don't have them.

How many of those have you seen naked?

maybe people with tattoos like art?

Your trolls are terrible. That guy is far more successful than you.

From what I've seen, it's just annoying pain, and not much if they're small. Tattoos don't make you tough. Going to a gym and learning martial arts or boxing, along with a killer instinct is what makes one tough. Some look at people with tattoos and fear them, even though their legs are smaller than a strong man's arms and their arms are like saplings.

Tatts are actually art, although if people with tatts like other art I'm not sure. I like art but haven't any body art. My kids like art and have tatts, so it's personal.

I'm not sure how intelligent he is, but being the secretary of defense, I'm thinking he knows enough to keep that job. It isn't easy to prove, as our president isn't very bright and has a limited vocabulary, and he's the highest ranking individual on earth. This is on Hegseth's history..........https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Hegseth

I wonder if those ancient tribes used tattoos to instill fear in their enemies in battle.

They can be unnerving, especially when they're on the face and neck.

And maybe some people today are using tattoos for the same reason.

I think it's a complex issue and maybe different people are using tattoos for different reasons.

Exactly. Some look at people with certain tatts, like on the face and neck, and fear them, for no reasons other than stereotype. You can put a neck tattoo on a man who can't do 10 pushups and some will fear him, and look at a man with a rose on his arm that can bench 300 lbs and think he's a snowflake. Can't judge a book by it's cover is always legitimate.

I only like the b*tches with the tramp stamps but that was in the early 90s.

About time these broads smartened up.
