The question here is, are Rohingya citizens of South Africa?

What does this have to do with South Africa? We are talking about refugees

In South Africa there is no focus on white farmers per se. Farmers of any nationality are at risk. The attacks stem from rural insecurity and a level of lawlessness that pervades rural settings, attacks are not related to racism.

You might be getting mixed up with Zimbabwe.

Well, you won't find that information using google or bing as a search engine.

Try, "South African encourages attacks on whites" using the yandex.com search engine.   That will even have a website listing the tortures and murder of whites on it.

I thought it had do do with the offer of refugee status (and immigration) to the U.S. of whites that currently live in South Africa.

"President Trump's controversial executive order offer[s] refugee status to the White Afrikaner minority in South Africa ..."

"

Julius Malema, the head of the EFF, responded to the DA and the Freedom Front Plus by stating that he would continue to sing “Kill the Boer” if he so desired.

Malema spoke on Wednesday from the EFF’s headquarters in Johannesburg during a press conference.

After defeating the lobby group AfriForum in court, the Equality Court decided that the song was protected by the First Amendment, permitted in the controversial political climate, and was neither hate speech nor incitement. Malema emphasised to journalists that the court’s rulings must be respected."

Quite so, also George W Bush and Mitt Romney, not a president, but relevant!

I will argue with you about Bush.   He was in the National Guard.  Some will say he skipped some or many weekend drills, which I will admit he did.

But the reason was he had done (I think administrative work) for the National Guard accumulating enough days to have completed his required yearly commitment of National Guard service.

What news agencies and detractors don't report to the public is how that service can be accumulated.   A regular weekend is a total of 16 hours, i.e. two 8 hour work days.  For both National Guard and Reserve service, that counts as four days of service.   Some how, a 4 hour block of time counts as a full day.   Sometimes a weekend service requires attendance of four hours on Friday.  This plus Saturday and Sunday attendance counts as five days of service, or one full week!

An eight hour day of administrative work during the week, however, only counts as one day of service.   Then there is the additional freebee of being given 15 days each year that counts as your time served.

But, he evaded the draft?  No, National Guard service is not evasion of the draft.

And off topic of what I wrote above, was Bush a RINO?  Yes, I think he was.   Which for me means, he was a moderate democrat!

White farmers in South Africa are being murdered regularly, and have been so for many years. The liberal left elite choose not to report this. Shameful.

No one is ignoring murders. However, there is context. In 2024, 32 farm related workers were murdered of which 4 were black farmworkers. Sometimes the farmers are black.  South Africa is a violent land. That is the legacy of a system that kept wealth in the hands of foreigners, and then other elite segments, while much of the population remained in poverty. The number of  white farmers killed is relatively small when compared to other South Africans. .South Africa has around 26,000 murder victims in a year. 32 out of 26,000 is not significant. Nor is 28.  It is not nice, but not a big number. Its 0.085% .    Whites make up 7% of the population. The takeaway is that it is safer to be a white farmer than it is to be a black townshipper.
