Pattaya, been home since 2001, not sure how long I'm staying for, tooooo many foreigners now, it's no longer Thailand. Thinking of moving to Roi Et, beautiful city, nice people, not too many foreigners.

Yes nice area. I bet most on here never been. Too busy sitting in Pattaya whingeing or making dumb mum jokes.

Ok, so you go first then.

I split my time between Isaan, CM, Hua Hin and the west.

Bangkok is great for eating in sheds.

Where do you spend most of your time?

"Split time with West" should be on top of the list, not at the bottom ! Results will be worthless IMO.

sorry, i'm gonna go with my initial instinct on this one.

i don't believe you.

first of all, you mention 3 very specific places in thailand and then "the west"? where in the "west"? why so vague? you hiding from the CIA?

second of all, nobody does that. nobody divides their time between 3 locations in thailand and back home.

I'm calling BS.

I do. You must think Paddy Doyle is faking all those videos. Not everybody stays in 1 spot. Why do that?

More people live in the south than in Chiang Mai? That's crazy. Why would people live in the south instead of CM?

Air quality is superb in CM now. Okay, so better air for 2 months, but at what price? What's in the south?

Please tell me those beaches are not like in Pattaya or Patong?

A bit dry but after a bit of lube happy happy

The CN Tower's impressive, a concrete so tall, but it lacks the sparkle of a ladyboy's call

Toronto's so calm, it's a bit of a bore, like waiting in line at the LCBO store.

could be i guess.

why? to change scenery?

paddy doyle is motivated by making videos.

pain in the bum to keep moving around. you have to rent monthly, move all your crap. so you cannot exceed 2 suitcases ever.

Superb ? Better after the rain , but superb ?

From dec/jan to may/june it is not good enough to terrible.

What's in the south ?

Much more and constant green vegetation. Some nice beaches and mountains too (Nakhon si Thammarat).

CM has become too big .

I like that it's big. There's always new things to discover, even after years of being here. And yes the air quality is excellent now.

Loved CM, like a Buddhist Aspen or Asheville.

Prefer BKK for NYC-level access to everything (partic for dating).

I see a move to Nonthaburi/Suraburi in a year or so. I miss growing food.

I am surprised that Phuket isn't listed. Prob most of the south votes live there.
