It's illegal for a Farang to be a hermit, how would you file the TM30? Do reporting?

Plus you need money to sustain yourself, you're not going to make squat by meditating.

There are a couple in my condo, really weird-looking guys.

Never speak to anyone, or make eye-contact.

How are they weird looking? The way they dress? Got an extra eye on their forehead?

I vacillate back and forth between hermit mode and being social.

I can be both and enjoy both. Too much socializing is draining and doesn't allow you to reflect. Life remains too superficial.

Yes. I know a 23 hr a day hermit. He is French. Laziest mf I ever met.

I dont think it's mentally healthy to be perpetually in hermit mode.

Also, some people might actually appreciate your company.

Balance both. Some people have way too many superficial relationships. I don't think that's good either.

Does the hermit job description preclude doing stuff?

Doing stuff outdoors

So long as the hermit isn't an anchorite they can do stuff out doors, just solitary, not social stuff.

No hermit means stay home most of the time.

That's your interpretation, however a hermit is simply a person who chooses to live a solitary life, a withdrawal from social interaction and worldly life, possibly for spiritual reasons (mental health). That could equally be living in a caravan half way up a mountain as retreating to a bedsit in Luton, personally I'd prefer the former, your situation is obviously the latter.

The hermit I know is mentally ill. Sits in a small room. A caravan life would put u outdoors.
