  • Yet another donation of flooding aid, this one apparently from their Majesties the King and Queen (hence their photo).   My son from the UK being used as a beast of burden.

  • Our first "flood relief"  was just delivered. Small boy with a cart brought us two packs of bottled water.   He went away with a 4 pack of yoghurt and a huge smile!!

  • If anyone has data or live monitoring sites please post here. The more the merrier.   Let's keep everyone informed and keep our feet dry!

Tonight's peak, up slightly.

A little worrying as the big tides are actually later this week.

The gulf is a wee bit lower this week, so depending what you got coming southward from dam releases, might be OK.   It was quite high before the rains hit down here last week, almost every day.  Slacked off now, and just overcast with light drizzle now & then.  Lovely temps without the sun.

Uh-oh...CHONGO!! Remember the Danger Island segment on the Banana Splits Show??

Important and Popular Fact - Danger Island included a very young Jan-Michael Vincent https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danger_Island_(TV_series)

It's also worth reading the Kim Kahana (Chongo) Wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Kahana seems he was a genuine Korean war hero!

Urgent update.

The dipstick level is now at 42cm below worry, that's big jump in only an hour. Hopefully just my miscalculation of the delay from the Pathum level!

We have water in the garden!!

Peak today. Today is a long single-hump tide followed by a week or so of similar before the big tides arrive at the back end of next week.

More good news!
