Crime Swedish Father Denies Harassment Allegations in Udon Thani

A complex and disturbing case has emerged from Udon Thani, Thailand, where a Swedish man has denied accusations of sexually harassing his 16-year-old half-Thai, half-Swedish biological daughter. The allegations have been brought by his Thai ex-wife, Suay, who claims Carl attempted to assault their daughter, Em, in a hotel owned by Carl’s friend, Ploy.

 

Suay, now 29, filed a complaint with the local police, alleging that Carl made inappropriate advances towards Em. Despite Em’s assertions of unwanted advances and her fear of Carl's "strange touch," Carl steadfastly denied the claims. He argued that his intentions were purely educational and accused Suay of concocting the allegations for financial gain. According to Carl, Suay had manipulated similar situations in the past to extort money.

 

Supporting Carl, Ploy attested to never witnessing any inappropriate behaviour. She alleged that Suay had previously confided in her about plans to extract money from Carl, suggesting the current claims were part of that scheme.

 

This case highlights a backdrop of ongoing tension and mistrust, compounded by a history between Carl and Suay that is entangled with legal and personal disputes. As of now, no charges have been filed, and the investigation continues.

 

The police are proceeding cautiously, aware that their next steps must be measured and thorough given the serious nature of the allegations. Maybe the story is True about touching the daughter. Seems he has a history of doing even more to young little girls. There may be something wrong in his head to do such things. But since he got one pregnant at 13 it seems he may also hav edone something with his daughter also. 

The police, should have him charged with molesting the mother at 13, since that is provable with DNA testing on the daughter. Then they should be trying their best to charge him with touching his daughter if it can be proven. Either way, he would end up in a jail cell again. Perhaps the daughter is too afraid of losing her future support or fear from the father. If he is already behind bars then perhaps she would be more open to tell what is really happening to convict him longer.

Suay told police that she met Carl on the island of Koh Samui, in the southern province of Surat Thani in 2008, when she was 13 years old. Carl was reportedly 27 years old at that time. Suay became pregnant with their daughter, Em, but she later discovered that Carl was already married in Sweden.

Carl’s legal wife subsequently sued him for taking away and sexually abusing a minor, which led to the Swedish man returning to his country and receiving a two-year prison sentence.

I thought someone mistyped her age as 29 instead of say 39, but when original article in no unclear terms showed he made her pregnant at 13... yes, why is he not locked up?

I'm shocked that 13 years ago this wasn't all over Thai visa "13 year old girl pregnant by Swiss man". Maybe he could clarify her age or even her birth certificate should be provided. If he was having sex with a 13 year old and the proof is their daughter, why the hell wasn't that acted on. Now for this, he touched her leg and bum (christ I touch my daughters leg everytime she gets on her horse to adjust her saddle) as for the phone, and GPS tracker that is sensible parenting.  If he is such a threat simple: walk away, cut all ties. If guilty beyond reasonable doubt then lock him up for good and lose the keys. Once you're done with this inacceptable behaviour (always under the assumption that he is the impersonated monster others claim him to be) then why not carry on with the clean-up job all over Thailand with all those uncles "taking care" of the next generation? It is certainly not unheard of and most cases happen within the coziness of the culprits own family 😞

The "age of consent" varies in different  countries and cultures from 11 to 21. In France they have only just raised it to 16. In many European countries it is 14.
