I suggest you research the definitions. BTW I do have a degree in political science. Political theory to be precise.

I did research the definitions — as in my reference. Can’t you read? It’s obvious you didn’t do yours. Where’s your evidence?

Ah, so now it’s political theory. That’s interesting — because theory is built on evidence-based logical debate, not personal interpretation dressed up as authority.

A background in political theory should mean you’re trained to engage opposing views with clarity, structure, and reason — not to sidestep challenges with vague, illogical deflections.

You’re not applying theory — you’re using it as a shield to avoid defending your claims. That’s not intellectual rigor. That’s just retreat.

"86" always meant "to remove" and generally referred to being kicked out of a bar.  I've never heard of it being referred to as "killing someone" as it has been insinuated today.  The Secret Service will pay a visit and that will be that. Comey isn't going to be arrested.

If a working class Brit had posted a similar message relating to Starmer or Lammy, or possibly migrants - you'd be calling for jail terms for incitement to violence.

Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.

That's true.

Vacating the science based universe? I reckon the Covid pandemic shows who vacated the science based universe. As for truth why didn't the Dems come clean about Sleepy Joe's dementia?

And what on earth has the "Covid pandemic" or "Sleepy Joe's dementia" got to do with the subject matter.

Here's your clue.

Buggerall.

You munters just can't help yourselves.

Actually, my Thai GF — much like MAGA — believes in numerology. She finds numbers in her flower beds and fruit trees, then uses them to burn through my money on lottery tickets. She hasn’t won a single baht yet.

At this point, I’m just hoping someone shows up in a van to arrest her too — before I do something I’ll regret.

Oh 'Secret Service', the OP is quoting Kash Patel as saying “the SS”?
I honestly thought he was doing a Heinrich Himmler impression.

He was the head of the actual Nazi SS — wasn’t he?

Your degree is really shining through!

Ah, the irony. Accusing others of deflection… with a deflection.

No rebuttal. No evidence. Just another empty insult and a canned Harris reference. If you had a real counterpoint, you’d use it. But instead, here we are — again.

Either way Trump's judgement in firing Comey is vindicated. For a former FBI director to post a message on social media that means kill Trump is the height of incompetence. Whether he did it for kicks and giggles or whether he has a trained assassin waiting in the wings, this has to be one of the  most stupid things an FBI director has ever done. He's now being investigated.

So good call by Trump to fire him. Good judgement.

It coincides with the ongoing criminal investigation that  he’s under!

Some how Comey is using this to influence public perception and will be helped by his leftist friends in the media, to   spin propaganda !

He’s become a expert at it!Who would dare create a stir by using this cryptic message without a cause, Comey.

I ‘m willing to bet the farm on  both scenarios .If Comey has a negative outcome as a result of the ongoing investigation from months ago (February) , Trump will be blamed . We’ve seen over the years  ,He’s a ruthless ex director !

Certainly he can't claim that he would not be aware that 47 refefrs to Trump.

Quote

" The whistleblower reportedly claimed that they knew Comey had ordered a probe into Trump and had "personally directed it" shortly after Trump announced he was running for president"

Let's hope the get the two honeypot gals.

You still need to answer the question. Why is the Trump government authoritarian and why is the US a police state? You can't answer because you have no idea what you're talking about and all you do is troll with terms you have no idea what they mean.

Edit: Why don't you use AI to help you and post the results. Question one for AI: What defines an authoritarian state? Question two for AI: What defines a police state? Awaiting your post to show the results.

At this point in the game of checks & balances it all comes down to the reasonable prosecutor phenomenon & jurisdiction location.Where is he gonna be tried if indicted on the accusations of 8647 ! If its DC, he’s free to do whatever!

One possible origin of the term "86 it" was Chumley's Speakeasy in New York City during Prohibition. It had two entrances, one of which was 86 Bedford Street.

The cops would call ahead and warn of an impending raid and say that they needed to 86 their customers, meaning the cops were going to enter on the other side of the building.

There we go — making stuff up again.

Before I continue, point to where I said the U.S. is a police state. You can’t — because I didn’t.

As for the US being an authoritarian government and a police state do you think this is the case? Looking forward to your answer to this question.

Another highly intellectual post. No one on here expects any less. Well done. BTW how long did it take you to come up with such a razor sharp comment?

A simple question doesn't require a complex answer, so not long.

I can't imagine why Trump's DoJ would want to pursue this.

After all, Trump pardoned J6 rioters who explicitly called for Mike Pence to be hanged. In comparison, this is nothing.

Indeed. Here's a simple non-answer to a simple question. "Well I was brought up in a middle class family ....... ." I'm so glad for the world the cackling idiot Harris didn't get in. Say what you will about Trump, which you sufferers do every day with multiple threads and comments, but he's changing the playing field and changing it both domestically and globally. He's not a dictator as many idiots on here say he is, it's not an authoritarian government as many idiots on here say it is, it's not a police state as many idiots on here say it is and he's not an oligarch as many idiots on here say he is. What he is is an agent of change. He campaigned on this agency of change and got voted in.
