How much racial strife do you see in Thailand?

How many gun massacres occur in Thailand?

Do you prefer beached whale American women to slim and beautiful Thai women?

Do you prefer American family law to Thai laws?

IMO common sense.

My suggestion is that you take great care with those rose tinted glasses.  They're probably irreplaceable.

Here's what Congress says:

Illegal immigrants are a net fiscal drain, meaning they receive more in government services than they pay in taxes.

Illegal immigrants do pay some taxes. We estimate that illegal immigrants in 2019 paid roughly $5.9 billion in federal income tax, $16.2 billion in Social Security tax and $3.8 billion in Medicaid taxes. However, as the net fiscal drain of $68,000 per person cited above indicates, these taxes are not nearly enough to cover the cost of the services they receive.

They said that at the start of 2024.  During Biden...

Assuming that all the estimates are correct, I still didn't see where the State and consumer tax were taken into account, and most of the states that give benefits to illegals are paid for by the state, not the federal government. Also, the estimates he uses are assuming low-educated workers making a low wage and therefore paying little in taxes. That may be the case, but wouldn't the cost to the government be the same if you could find a legal worker (if you can) to replace those workers at the same pay scale? The problem seems to be that they are not paid enough for the work they do.

To be eligible for Medicaid, there would be new “community engagement requirements” of at least 80 hours per month of work, education or service for able-bodied adults without dependents.

Interesting that "dependents" were just reclassified as "anybody UNDER the age of 8".

Got 4 children ages 8, 11, 13, 15? Now you must work.

Cost of living is high, a lot of jobs are not secure.

Maybe it's best not to have 4 children unless you're a doctor or lawyer with a guaranteed 6 figure income for life.

I've been living here for 15 years trouble-free, thanks for your concern.

America is <deleted>. Due to the low national IQ, most Americans don't realise it.

Thanks for confirming.

you could volunteer 20 hours a week while they are at school.

Or you could just lay on the sofa and eat bon-bon all day

I totally agree. And there is not even a mild admission that some of his policies are wacky, insane, extreme, ineffective and buffoonish. Seems like an unwillingness to lose face.

I do have some friends that will come right out and say the man is a butthead, he's an idiot, and he's an absolute clown, but I like his policies. Those are the Republicans I admire. Real men with guts and honesty.

With many people, once they got attached to a theory, it was hard to get them detached. They’d screen out unhelpful facts, invent favorable ones, and ignore contradictions in their own claims. Look at those Sandy Hook, multiple fraud convictions, and Jan. 6th truthers, babbling about false flags and crisis actors and all the rest. When people were motivated enough to believe something, they were going to believe it no matter what. There was no such thing as a bridge too far.

Adding a work requirement for young, able bodied men to receive medicaid is a worthwhile cut.

Men and women. Anybody who's asking for benefits and is capable of working should be working, whether it's highway cleanup, or cleaning up the beaches, there are countless tasks that others are being paid $15 to $25 an hour to do that the government could be extracting tremendous value from. Assistance is ok. But no free rides.

Yeah. Hes too nice to0 Gaza and Iran.

On the other hand, they all have stupid ideas. Its when the good ones outnumber the bad ones that things get better.

Hows the issue of Joe Bidens competency treating you? Loads of attacks on shipping these days huh? Did I just see that Europeans are starting to take their own defense seriously?

Are these the things Biden would have done if he hadn't lost his marbles?

I see frequent mentions of the " US Health Care System " but I honestly didn't know it had a health care system. That is what Europeans are taught. That health care is linked to jobs.

It doesn't have a national health.

It comes different ways if it comes at all.

As you said private insurance paid by employers.

Private insurance paid directly by consumers currently partly subsidized based on income (ACA). Full retail price unaffordable for most.

Medicaid. Government program for the poorest making under the minimum required to be eligible for ACA subsidized private insurance

Medicare Government program for over age 65 but people must pay extra for vital parts of it.

Medicare Advantage Medicare but run by private insurers an option for over age 65

Hospitals will treat emergency cases of the uninsured but kick out once stabilized

Does the federal budget need to be cut.  Yes or No.

The Federal debt needs to be reduced, but not to be achieved by reducing Social Services for the less fortunate and definitely not in order to fund further tax reduction for  the wealthy.

Trump’s new megabill sets the foundation for one of the greatest legislative transfers of wealth in US history. It’s happening in plain sight and it’s unpatriotic not to speak up. This is not about America first. It’s about Trump and his cronies first. It’s a ‘take from the poor, and give to friends of the family.’ Trump’s game plan is simple. First, hire yes people. Next, create the necessary legislative ecosystem. Lastly, go after anyone who questions your intentions. This is bullynomics and it’s not sustainable. Crony capitalism never beats collaborative capitalism.

Just watched an episode of Law & Crime.

Cop pulls over this guy.

Cop asks if he has registration. Guy goes off on a tirade about how he couldn't afford his licence renewal and how the system is broken. And by the way also mentioned that he has 4 or 5 children to feed.

Guy had a total meltdown and shot the cop and then other cops killed him.

Do you feel that males should not pay child support?

Yes, but why are people earning say 20,000 p.a. even taxed, I assume they are defined as the working poor. On the other side of the coin why provide further tax cuts for people earning say $400k p.a.. Plus of Trump's tariff taxes are going to harm those on low incomes, whilst Trump boasts about enormous income increase for Fed govt from tariff taxes on imports.
