Dress Code On Flight.
I always wear long-sleeved shirts and long trousers on flights, as it gets cold in the cabin. I have a light shirt to change into if necessary. I take no notice of anyone sitting next to me, unless they are invading my space. IMO obese people should pay extra for extra space. -

Report Thai Army Responds to Cambodian Territorial Claim Amid Tensions
Picture courtesy of Thai Newsroom Following remarks by Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen reasserting Cambodian sovereignty over a contentious border area, Thai Army Commander General Pana Klaewplodthuk is preparing a statement restricting entry to this zone. This development follows a recent armed clash at Chong Bok, Ubon Ratchathani province, which resulted in a Cambodian soldier's death despite a prior agreement between the two nations. General Pana's forthcoming statement, in both Thai and English, addresses ongoing discussions with Cambodia, proposing joint patrols at the disputed site. Recently, both Thai and Cambodian military representatives reached an accord on several points: Utilisation of the Joint Boundary Committee (JBC), a governmental mechanism, intended to resolve the issue expediently, with a conclusive meeting expected in a fortnight. Both nations have withdrawn their forces from the immediate clash area, relaxing tensions. Agreement to continue utilising the Regional Border Committee (RBC) to resolve residual disputes, enhancing JBC's effectiveness. Specific guidelines have been established concerning the site at Chong Bok, prohibiting Cambodian troops from using slope 745, previously fortified by Cambodian soldiers but negotiated for retreat by the Thai army. Joint patrols by Thai and Cambodian soldiers are planned for today. Additionally, dialogue for joint patrols at a second conflict zone along a 650-metre trench from Sattaban tree to the Laos intersection is anticipated. Cambodia released its own outline of the agreement, detailing the collaborative mechanisms and stressing the importance of respecting sovereignty. The four key points stated include a commitment to peaceful border management through bilateral agreements and mechanisms, maintaining patience in ongoing discussions, reinforcing respect for mutual territorial integrity, and opposing withdrawal or redeployment of forces in areas claimed by Cambodia prior to the 2000 Memorandum of Understanding on boundary demarcation. Both parties concluded discussions affirmatively, adhering to the respective points, with the aim to restore and preserve peace and cooperation along the border. These developments reflect the complex diplomatic negotiation efforts to mitigate escalation and sustain amicable relations, spotlighting the delicate balance of territorial integrity and cooperative resolutions. Interest payments originate from the general fund and are an expense to taxpayers. You don't undersand how this suff works. It's one side of the government paying the other side of the government. You will never admit that you are wrong.
