I'm rapidly beginning to think that Trump is losing his marbles.  Not in the way that Biden was cognitively impaired and then protected by staffers who then ran the country for him via Auto-Pen.  Trump is still functionally capable of standing at a podium and answering questions, and then leave the podium without getting lost or falling down.  With Biden, that was just a national embarrassment and will be a blight on US history as he made the US the laughing stock of the world. No - Trump is becoming unhinged in his own way.  He looks functionally capable, but then he opens his mouth and it's obvious he doesn't have a clue as to what is really happening in the world.  If his staff IS giving him briefings regarding the Geo-Political landscape he is either forgetting what he is told or his hubris is creating a fairy-tale reality in his head.  One day he wants to be the Nobel Peace Prize recipient for ending the Ukraine war, the next he's green-lighting genocidal bombing campaigns, and the next he seems to have no knowledge of what happened a day ago, or even 2 hours ago.  Much like Biden, his "reality" of the world around him is whatever the last staffer who talked with him said it was, and then he parrots that position.  I don't particularly believe he has a unique opinion or has an idea what is occurring in the world around him.  And his responses to questions are becoming more child-like, narcissistic, megalomaniacal, self-aggrandizing and unhinged. He looks functional unlike Biden, but he's acting literally psychotic, swinging from one extreme to another, like maybe his missed a dose of lithium.

I find rants like the one below to be disturbing.  Then flipping back and forth on issues isn't the behavior of a world leader.  It's a good way to bumble into a third World War.  Not that the Neo-cons wouldn't like that, I'm sure they would.  I just don't want to wake up to find Trump is playing all of Peter Seller's parts in Dr. Strangelove plus the role of Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper.

We are rapidly moving from "strategic ambiguity" to "the dude has lost his marbles."  Even his stanchest supporters should be concerned.
