Acupuncture or Physio?

If you've had any experience, good or bad, with acupuncture or physiotherapy in Mukdahan/That Phanom/Nakhon Phanom, I'd like to hear about it. I have a trapped nerve in my neck causing me left shoulder/arm pain. I am looking for private treatment as I could die of old age waiting in a government hospital.

 

If you can help with a recommendation, I'll be grateful.

I had acupuncture from a highly trained Western professional. I could not believe it, but boy does it work. You really notice the difference.

I had a pinched nerve in my shoulder a while back. Could barely raise my arm. 

Heat compresses did the trick for me.

I've had effective treatment too, back in Europe, so I'm hoping to find someone here.

This gives some temporary relief, but I'm hoping to get more lasting treatment.

Yes, that's the drawback with acupuncture, it does provide relief, but it is temporary.

I've relied on acupuncture for many years. (My first acupuncture treatment was over 55 years ago!)

When combined with proper diagnosis (and that IS very important for good results,) acupuncture has completely fixed my problems.

That said, I also use Western medicine for some problems, too.

Chinese medicine is effective in many areas... but not all.  I've found it most beneficial (for me) for problems related to movement, i.e., joint and muscle pain (so you're in luck!) and general energy levels.
