Pointing to credible evidence would be a start.

Surely this Middle Stump poster must be some sort of forum shill, recruited to inflame other posters with his/her inane comments and increase thread replies?

... because I've never read such twaddle in all my life 🙂

It's Owl Sees All. Top bloke. Not sure what got him into this whole virus thing though.

"...Or do you, and your fellow scientists, believe anything that you are told"

No professional scientist takes statements at face value.  The information needs to be peer-reviewed, but not reviewed by unqualified, tin-hat 'nutters' looking for more tik-tok likes.

I'm not a virologist.  I am a space scientist/engineer and I endeavour to conduct experiments within my abilities to confirm scientific statements made by others.  A scientist always has an enquiring mind, but their curiosity is based on years of academic learning and in-industry practical experience.  It's called The Scientific Method and that is what I teach all of my students to do - don't take statements at face value, but research the topic and especially check the background of the person who is making some new scientic statement that seems at odd with the generally-accepted ideas.

When someone tells me that there is no such thing as a virus, I dismiss that staement as poppycock, because decades of research by some of the most brilliant scientific minds has shown otherwise.

But, I proved you wrong, and you won't reply to it...........🤥

All can now see you have dodged it.

Now let's go back, you said bats don't carry viruses, so here is more evidence, just admit you were wrong......

Where is the evidence to support the existence of either or both 'viruses' and the so-called 'immune' system?

I prefer the words 'defence' and 'maintenance' rather than 'immune'. There are reasons why I think that. Beyond the scope of this thread however. Perhaps another time.

Not beyond the scope of this thread!  You need to back up your statements with evidence - don't just say "because I say so".

The thing with the anti-vaccine spammers is that they got their basic vaccines at an early age. In other word the vaccines are often why they're still alive. That's the worst side-effects of vaccines: having kept those spammers alive.

re no virus.

You say you are a scientist of many years. So! Show the evidence that makes you believe a pathogen, called a 'virus', actually exists.

Thank you for confirming we would die if you had it your way – you are not the only participant of this thread to have eugenic penchants towards the Dirty Parasitic Antivaxxers.

However, there are two contradictory recurring statements on this forum regarding these weaker elements of society. So which one applies? Please choose one and be consistent.

1. We are "piggybackers" who are still alive because we benefit from the herd immunity the other responsible folk created, i.e. it is possible – albeit selfish and irresponsible – to be unvaccinated.

2. We would be dead if we had not been inoculated as children, i.e. it is not possible to be unvaccinated and failure to abide by this principle entails certain death.

This is a fundamental contradiction which an enlightened, tertiary-educated mind can't tolerate, I am sure. Looking forward to the clarification.

So You Want to Be a Tin-Foil Hatter? A Step-by-Step Guide to Ditching Reality...

1.    "Do Your Own Research"
Watch a YouTube doc filmed in a van by TruthSeeker88.
Bonus points if it's banned everywhere except Rumble.
Research tip: Stop Googling once you agree with yourself. That's science, right?

2.    Trust Random Dudes with “Dr.” in Their Username
Ignore scientists—listen to a chiropractor with a podcast and a healing crystal side hustle.
If they’ve never treated a patient but have opinions, you're in safe hands.

3.    "Natural Is Better"
Celebrate nature, but ignore that it invented botulism, leprosy, and death-by-worm.
Drink essential oils and call it a cleanse. Ignore that hemlock is also natural—so was the plague.

4.    Just Asking Endless, Leading Questions
“I’m just asking questions” = I already know the answer, but want to sound deep.
Ask more than a toddler. Accept fewer answers than a brick wall.

5.    Graphs That Would Make Excel Cry
One scary bar chart = undeniable proof. Especially if the y-axis is missing and it was made in MS Paint.
If one vaccine had a reaction once, ban all of science. Also: outlaw cars, chairs, and peanuts.

6.    Big Pharma = Big Bad
Believe all diseases are invented to sell you pills.
Insider tip: Every cure is secretly a plot by reptilian billionaires. (Also available in a 10-hour documentary.)

7.    Trust Your Immune System (and Kale)
Reject all vaccines because you eat chia seeds and jog.
“My body can handle anything” – Famous last words of people in medieval Europe.

8.    Magic Crystals Over Medicine
Fight viruses with vibes, herbs, and something called “quantum detox resonance.”
Medicine is a scam. But moon-charged kombucha? Now that’s healing.

9.    Call Everyone Else "Sheeple"
Proudly declare you're a free thinker... by copy-pasting Facebook posts from 2015.
Echo other free thinkers, but louder. That’s how truth works.

10.    Lead With Panic, Not Proof
Shout “TOXIC!” and “DEADLY!” as often as possible.Who needs evidence when fear feels so right? Just remember: horror movies are scary too—and nobody uses those as a medical source. (Yet.)

Pass mark = 1/10
Congratulations! You're now fully qualified to ignore consensus, cherry-pick paranoia, and repel logic like it’s a vaccine.
( further restrictions may apply, no intelligence required, objects in the your mirror may not be the same as reality - Tin foil sold separately).

Ah, the old "gotcha" fallacy wrapped in victim cosplay.

No contradiction here, just basic epidemiology:
You can freeload off herd immunity—until enough people do it, and then the whole thing collapses.
You're alive because of the vaccines you did get, not despite them.

So yes, you’re a piggybacker and would be dead without past immunisation. Amazing how cause and effect can coexist, isn’t it?

But please, keep lecturing us about logic. Preferably from a safe distance.

Thank you for your patience and willingness to stoop to these abyssal depths of mediocity and ignorance.

I know several people who have unvaccinated children, i.e. they never received a single shot, and who are all in stellar health. How does that fit in with the statement "You're alive because of the vaccines you did get, not despite them. So yes, you’re a piggybacker and would be dead without past immunisation"?

My enquiring would be to understand more about the topic out of self-interest.  But scientists who have won the Nobel Prize for their medical research are probably more believable than a tin-hatter 🙂  Additionally, I am not a virologist, but a space scientist, so my understanding of virology and pathogens is about year 2 university level.

Why would Alexander Fleming need to lie about penicillin?  Why would Salk lie about Polio vaccines?  Why would Marie Curie lie about Polonium?  Middle Stump is making ludricrous claims from a position of total ignorance about science and medical research - it's either all about Big Pharma or Bill Gates or conspiracy theories.

The non-vaxxers seem to ignore the fact that they live/lived in a mostly vaccinated world and are/were the beneficiaries of herd immunity.  It's much harder for a virus to penetrate the vaccinated herd to infect an unvaccinated individual.

I don't know if they lied. To get fame? To get the Nobel Prize? To get funding?

Why would Dr Tom Cowan, Judy Mikovits or Daniel Roytas lie?

Of course no one lies. Evidence is everything. There is no evidence to show that a virus (any virus) has ever been isolated and purified. The first of the Koch Postulates.

For science to properly be done, especially lab work, there need to be established gold standards, that are adhered to; rigorously. Many virologist simply do not even attempt to satisfy any of them. Why? Because if they did, their lab evidence would fall flat. The cat would be out of the bag.

When the OP knows that Stillwagon is a retired chiropractor and STILL insists he is an expert, what does it say about the OP?

https://factcheck.afp.com/doc.afp.com.9PW8PJ

It's just embarrassing. By all means do your own research, but start by looking up biographical information about the"expert".
