Another misleading 'Gotcha' headline. They were using amplifying equipment in a busy, public area which is illegal in the UK without a permit.

Do all mosques have permits for the Adhan call to prayer they blast every day?   Or is it racist to apply the law in this case?

  • This is what happens when you use the wrong book. Honestly.  get with the uk replacement program.

More than somewhat vague, and unlikely to be enforceable don't you think.

The underlying rules are much more specific and very enforceable.

Surely the law should distinguish between the ghastly caterwauling, offensive to the ears of civilised people, that is the Muslim call to prayer, and the joyful sound of church bells which, anyway, is usually only on Sundays and the occasional weekday wedding and at reasonable hours, rather than the 5 times a day of the adhan.  (Don't Muslims have watches, or are they haram?)

and just supposing there was a bunch of people some wearing face coverings and others bowing and screeching and doing their thing with amplification, would they have been treated the same way? Somehow I doubt it.

That's the mental illness of homosexuality. That's how they create new converts and not to Christianity

Throw all the Muslims out then.

Newbee did say throw out ALL that religious crap.
Why do you then pick out just one religion? Oh hang on……

And very annoying to people who don't want to hear it. It's about public disturbance, but the "victims" are trying to make it about Christianity and persecution.

That seems fair.

Show us video of muslim missionary groups blasting islamic worship music on railway property without issue and we'll have something to complain about.

They are not called "God Bothers for nothing. Now they want to bother the average citizen.

They is a place for such activities called "Speaker's Corner" they can simply go there and bother people.

This is all too typical of modern Britain.

Christian are suppressed and Muslims are defended in court.

Like it or not, most of those protests have permits along with permissions / restrictions attached. They are allowed to use amplifying equipment but only on a set route and during specified hours.

Stop trying to post sensible logical replies to Jonny, especially ones with facts in them. He just likes to get upset over things that only occur in his imagination - don't spoil it for him.

How dare you criticise the imaginary people in the sky.

My imaginary beings are better than yours!  One of them even brings us imaginary gifts on Xmas.
