This post is a prime example of "opening mouth and letting belly rumble." I'll spell it out.

Muslims for racist and religious reasons will back the Muslim candidate. It plays into the "world caliphate" mindset.

I'm known for detesting this rhetoric but there comes a point you have to acknowledge what's at play.

“Muslims for racist and religious reasons will back the Muslim candidate. It plays into the "world caliphate" mindset. ”

Said without one iota of introspection.

There’s no need to embarrass yourself like this, but thank you anyway.

Correct. Liverpool was used as a battering ram against the Labour Party and they were out of power for 18 years. It's as serious as a heart attack for the Dems.

NYC melting down could cost them the midterms.

Not against a disaster like 47.

You do know how elections are won in votes cast?

I hope that post made sense in your head. Let me ask you a question - have you ever heard of a "Pyrrhic Victory?"

He's promising insane stuff.

NYC is unspeakably expensive and he can't fix that. NOBODY can!

Fortunately the USA is a big country.

It would be more humane to help people who can't afford it to MOVE than to make insane promises.

Yes I have, and I also know you are living in hope.

Have you ever heard of that other thing from Greek history ‘democracy’?

Delirious post. The last thing the Dems need is NYC melting down before the midterm elections.

If Mamdani is elected, then for sure we can expect a mass exodus out of NYC.

Netanyahu may be chargeable for war crimes, but I don't see how the city of NYC has jurisdiction in that area.

NYC matters to the entire nation.

Cleveland maters more to me than NYC.

Mamdani Is a breath of fresh air in NY politics, he speaks to the real day to day problems facing New Yorkers and he actually bothers to speak to New Yorkers face to face.

Another example of a progressive winning support from the community by starting at the grass roots, a man who is not owned by super PACs and big dollar donors.

Progressives are like a plague of locusts, they destory everything in their path.

So ya'll laughed at London and now you can 100% guarantee a Muslim mayor of NYC. Why? Mamdani will lift 100% of the Muslim vote. You will see a vast turnout on his behalf.

Apparently 40% of the population in NYC is foreign born. America is up for the taking and Americans are happy to oblige.

This guy already has planned for state subsidized grocery stores, just like in Cuba, Venezuela and the Soviet Union. 😂

So to the Americans take note, anyone from anywhere in the world can enter your city, pillage the tax base and implement policies seen in failed socialist states. If it all blows up in their face they can move to the next city or go back home.

Have fun getting wrecked guys.

I want him to win and open state run grocery stores.   Let the looting begin.   NYC is cool with shop lifting.

There will be no mass exodus out of NYC. The uber rich will keep their places and move their tax homes. The middle  class and working poor will suck it up, and the subsidized poor will be ecstatic.

You don’t seem to know much about the part NY has played in history of immigration to America.

They'll have to go to Connecticut to find anything to loot.

I live in the real world. By the way, my last long term girlfriend was a British Muslim.

Now you can unleash with "Oh,so you think you're not racist because you had a Muslim girlfriend?"

This is the paucity level of your posts. Just drivel wrapped in sanctimonious delusion.

Well done.

She has my sincere sympathies, it can’t have been easy for her.

And please, if you are going to invent responses on my behalf, don’t then make the idiotic argument that they represent any paucity on the part of arguments I haven’t made.

The paucity of arguments you yourself imagined is all your own.

The Conscription Act of 1863 allowed wealthy New Yorkers to pay Irish immigrants to substitute for them (in the substitution pool) instead of fighting in the Civil War. Immigration at some level is always about making the wealthy wealthier, safer, and comfortable at the expense of the workers and middle class.

Disagree. The population in NYC has decreased by 200,000 over the last couple of years, throw in an extremest like mamdani much more will split.

200K out of 10M over a few years is not mass exodus.
