So i have knowingly taken funds out and am below the 800K for my Extension based on Retirement

For the rets of my 12 month extension I will no longer have to deal with an immigration office due to only being in Thailand for 89 days max at a time

My question is am I able to make things OK for the following 1 Year Extension Renewal by getting funds up \ over 800K 3 months before my current Extension expires in 2026 ?

Sure, as long as you haven’t gone under 400k during the year, and hadn’t gone under 800k within two months after the extension.

No.  If you don't maintain the 800k/400k/800k requirement for the current extension you will not be able to renew it.  You need 800 for 3 months, 400 for 7 and 800 again for the 2 months before the renewal.  If not you will have to start over.

3 months after.  2 months before.

90 day reporting does not require proof of financials.

Which immigration office.

How long after obtaining extension did you drop below 800k.

When does current extension expire.

If you have failed the financials per the above posts you could use an agent this time and top up 800k before 2 months before extension date and should be ok for following year

appreciate all the replies....

my plan pretty much was to either use an agent next time or lese start all over again with 90 day extension.

If you have the money I suggest you stay legal.

By all means use an agent to hand hold/cut out the time wasting.

Just a note regarding using an agent.

I have been doing so for several years with probably the most popular agency in the country.  Always fast and efficient.

But apparently with the recent bank issues identified by the government, things have changed.

The paperwork at the office and answering questions is much greater now. Questions regarding address, landlord, bank account, phone, the bank app.  I must have signed my name 15 times on several pieces of paper.  After about 30 minutes they collected my passport and bank book and told me 2 to 3 weeks...

Well, it has been 2 weeks with nothing.

Also,  I was told at some point during the process I might have to return to the office to "straighten out a problem". Whatever that means.

Anyway, if I ever get my passport back I think next year I will just start over on my own.  I know I will have to leave in order to do this.  The agent rout just seems like an overpriced hassle now.

May sound like overkill, however I would also well in advance consider opening a new bank account.

Fresh slate so to speak.

Be aware that start over at jomtien from visa exempt entry may have issues.

You don't have to leave, it's a myth

Nope, the only way to dump the agent is to start over outside.

So are you leaving thailand every 89 days so as to not be in country for 90 days and therefore each stay you avoid having to file the 90 day report?

My guess is that he thinks financials are checked at in person reporting..

They are not.

Very strange thread.

yes he seemed to be focused on the financials.  My question was more about not having to do 90 day reports by leaving the country every 89 days or less.  Seems like that could work, although at some point if one is there for many many months total and immigration never saw any 90 day reports I would think some action would happen
