How to open a Bank account in 2025?
When I went to the branch the teller sorted through the documents looking for the yellow book and asked straight away where was it, when I said to her no I have a COR that's when she asked the other lady to come over When I asked at Buriram immigration for the COR I didn't say it was for a second account, as I'm new to them(all previous are Jomtien O retirement or Australian issued O marriage) They wrote 2 letters, the first was addressed to "the bank manager" and the second was to "the office of population registration"(Google translate, wife says to amphur) I never asked for the second letter and assumed the wife did, after writing the original reply I asked her and she said she didn't but immigration had told her that I would need to get a yellow book(thanks for filling me in dear...........), I thought I just had 2 COR for some reason and if the wife had told me what the second letter was for would have asked the IO to clarify what the local issue was or at least if they were having issues with certain banks as I just wanted a local account in light of all of the current banking issues So the IO must have known that there was an issue in Buriram at least with opening new accounts and its probably a very new problem not affecting those of us who have been around for a while And these were actually 2 letters separately addressed including on the envelope, again these were letters not COR, I had just assumed this was the Buriram version of a certificate of residence I feel sorry for those trying to get accounts at the moment and hope the original poster has managed to get one, I'm good,I have a account, I just view these interactions as part of a wider effort on behalf of Thai officialdom to keep me entertained in retirement -

I thought by now mental decline of the CNN regime media activists losing their minds over Trumps ongoing success's and WINNING would become somewhat more controlled, muted, but seems worse now each and every time they open their fool mouths! Epic morons at CNN, getting worse too. The only ones experiencing mental decline are the haters trying ever so desperately to serve up some fake news and gotcha moments about ANYTHING to do with Trump. One begins to question why the CNN's of the world and the Trump haters here have not learned by now to stop eating their feet and showcasing their deeply ingrained affinity for being total morons. Truly breathtaking BUT hilarious to witness this aberrant behavior each and every day. Morons will always be morons, CNN, MSNBC, etc, democrats, the haters etc will never decouple from their imbecilic behavior. -

Trump, Ayatollahs, and Grenade Juggling — Yank Politics Gone Right Down The Khazi
Right, so Trump’s gone and bombed three Iranian nuclear sites with B2 stealth bombers and a dozen MOPS, reckons he “totally obliterated” their nuclear programme. Then, like he’s Batman patting himself on the back, he tells Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, “You got beat to hell,” even brags he had intel on Khamenei’s hideout and spared him from an assassination plot. And here’s the best bit: Trump apparently can’t wrap his noggin around why the Supreme Leader ain’t ringing him up to say thanks for “saving him from an ugly death.” Like he’s gutted he didn’t get a thank-you card for not sending the Grim Reaper round. Proper narcissist behaviour, that innit. Meanwhile, Khamenei’s down there yelling “Death to America” at funerals of Iranian commanders, while U.S. Senate just blocked Democrats’ attempt to force Trump to get Congress’s permission for military action. So basically, Trump’s gone full rogue commander-in-chief, bombing first and asking questions later, all while Congress sits on its arse watching him run amuck. Then we’ve got Trump dropping the line about “Make Iran Great Again” and hinting at regime change if they don’t surrender unconditionally. Yet, at the same time, he refuses to assassinate Khamenei, saying, “They ain’t killed an American yet so leave him be.” It’s like a weird mix of Tarzan and Mr Nice Guy, you get bombs one minute, back-patting the next. Ask me, it’s a shambles, post-dramatic war talk, veiled threats, military escalation, and nobody seems to care about the rule book. Congress get brow-beaten into silence, Iran’s slobbering chants that’ll fuel another round, and Trump’s just on stage, grinning with self-praise for “peace through strength.” Real sophisticated diplomacy, that. The Nobel Peace Prize, my anoose! My verdict? Trump’s playing war like it’s WWE, tweeting and flexing bombs while folks at home worry about sunshine and the price of avo toast. The region’s heating up faster than a Bangkok tuk-tuk in traffic and the rest of the world’s watching him juggle missiles like he’s got three live grenades in his hands and no idea which one’s gonna go off first. -
