We have had both our cars insured with Direct Asia for a number of years and found them very helpful when needed.

I have just received my renewal notice which advises that they are now Roojai Insurance.

I understand that they were formed in 2016 and am interested as to what the experience has been in dealing with them.

I use Roojal for my bike insurance.  Good App and easy to set up the policy, but I've not had to claim yet, so no real experience.

I needed to file a claim with Roojai, and their service was excellent.  Prachuap Khiri khan province office, claims adjuster from Hua Hin district.

The oops was my fault.  They approved repairs in a timely manner, then approved additional repairs, found during the test drive, after initial repairs done.

Also had the work done, at my request (when asked where), and I chose the MG dealer.   MG dealer authorized repair shop was 100+ kms away from the point of the accident.  Thankfully, as only 3 kms from our house :cheesy:

They covered all transport cost, we simply paid the stated policy deductible, since my fault.

Thanks for he feedback will proceed with them

Not quite so I can tell you as at the end of the filling out all the information they sent a OTP to my wife's phone, she's the owner, I am the driver and she wasn't at home so they lost the business.

Seriously?

To the OP, I can recommend Roojai.

Have had excellent service from them.

Well I know it's serious when I spend time filling out the criteria for my policy, and to find out it's been a waste of time at the last ditch.

Now happily insured elsewhere.

You can't blame Roojai for your mishandling

Yes I can.

If the information was correctly presented at the start, as per my circumstances then I would have made sure the OTP to my wife's phone as the owner, I would have had her next to me at the time.

Don't make excuses for other people who's lack of clarity has lost them the business.

...and probably paying more.

But you say you are happy, so we are happy too.

Don't make excuses for you needing your long-haired translator by your side 24/7

Relevance?

You should have given them your phone number, Einstein... or, how about letting your wife buy the insurance? It's her scooter after all.
