Proof of Address

Featured Replies

I need to show proof of address for something and they ask for utility bills etc.

problem is we rent a house and everything is in my wife’s name, or the landlords.

Can anyone suggest a way to get such letters. Not sure if my bank gives physical letters.

Immigration might count but not sure, any other ideas?

I don’t have housebook but got a DL, but its address is different province.

Had the same problem and had to get mine from immigration......but maybe others will suggest something easier.

This has become a.real problem here of.late, idproof for everything from banks, Mygov agencies, licence, visas, etc even.online gambling!

Apparently the bank can print a statement which shows the address, check it's in English, if not ask them to update in English, Kasikorn was mentioned before

BKK will do a statement  showing your Thailand address in English.

I cannot remember if there was any fee involved the last time I did it about 18months ago for passport renewal.

You can obtain a Certificate of residence from your local immigration office.... It's good for 30 days.... I've made, and used copies for other uses....

It takes 3 weeks from the CM office.... I'm unsure if the timeframe is different in other areas....

Old style but still valid work permits have an address on it and often accepted.   rental agreement? . As you have said utility bill etc, not sure what you have tried already.
