Good Days and Bad Days

Featured Replies

Increasingly realise if I'm offline I have a good time doing the typical stuff, cooking, reading, meeting a friend. If I spend time online it often results in a bad day, you tubing, forum posting, fbooking.

What’s your definition of having a good day versus a bad day?

Not leaving the house?

Too much time on AN?

Got too pissed out of your head?

Didn’t get pissed enough?

Taking a solid dump?

Not taking a dump for 3 days?

Or maybe it’s waking up early, feeling clear-headed, getting things done before noon, and actually enjoying your coffee instead of just chugging it. Maybe it’s one of those days when every small thing goes right like green lights on the road, your phone battery magically lasting all day, and a hot girl gives you a genuine smile.

Or oversleeping, feeling groggy, spilling your coffee, or getting sucked into pointless arguments online. It might drag on with plans falling through or the weather deciding to mirror your mood with grey skies and monsoon rain.

Maybe some days blur the line. You might get a laugh with friends but feel empty once you’re alone again. You might accomplish nothing but still feel oddly at peace. In the end, good and bad days are rarely all good or all bad it seems. Perhaps they’re just a collection of moments.

Just out of curiosity why do you post so many totally unnecessary  questions? Are you bored or what's wrong with you?Amazingly some people even reply to you,oh man

so you come on to AN in bursts ... start a bunch of threads ... then disappear for months on end?

that sounds like a good strategy.

so the forum doesn't wear you down.

I like this forum more now than I did up until the last year or so, you used to have to tread on egg shells to post as you knew what mod had it in for you.

Now the admins and mods run this forum very well, although there are one or two nutters among the posters (same as in any forum) but the vast majority of posters have been very helpful to me as there are no farangs living anywhere near me who I can turn to for any help.

Pay day and rare sex days are good days.
Other days are mainly boring for me.

Nobody in Thailand has rare sex days, unless they choose to have them.

I think you're forgetting about the curse of growing old for many men.

Any day that I have to leave the safety of my own little sanctuary castle that I live in.....is a bad day. It all begins when I get on the roads and have to drive alongside absolute morons when it comes to road safety, and then when I get to where I am going, I have to interact with the braindead employees in all assortments of the food or service industry, from doctors to restaurants to banking....you name it. Things seldom go as planned, and it is just one stressful situation after another. If you run into a hurdle in any of these places, you will hear 100 reasons why they can't help you, and zero solutions to your problem. It's absolutely ridiculous!

Every day is a good day

Today, only one month before me and my wife reunite, and that’s going to be a very good day.

Life in general is good, and nothing to complain about.,

Deary me. This topic yet again. Must be the 1,247,852nd time.🙃🙃
