In recent years, I've tended to control by body by listening to it. For 5 years now, I've not had a headache, or any serious belly upsets.

 

I did, now I recall, have a bad reaction to something when I was in the army. Came out in a rash all over and temp went up alarmingly. But that was 55 years ago. Can't remember what happened. Just that I recovered OK.

I think it was water we found at an animal watering hole that caused the problem. Once we realised it, we only drank cactus water. All the small group suffered a little, and some, including me, a lot. We rested up for a day or so until getting some fuel delivered.

Even the best vaccines are not 100% effective. The Sinovac vaccine for COVID was only 50% effective in preventing infection.

 

Sinovac was far more effective in preventing the serious cases. Between 90% to 100%, according to South American data.
