Poland is being fined by the EU for refusing to take in the illegal immigrants.

So this tension between EU and Polish leaders could make Poland decide to leave the EU at some point.

 

Now this guy's conspiracy theory is the EU wants Britain to fail to scare off other EU countries from breaking apart. Britain doesnt have an illegal migrant crisis because they control their borders and are not dictated by Karl Schwab.

I respect Poland for trying to protect their culture from invasion.  Immigrants that wish to embrace and learn a new culture are one thing.  Those that just want the easier life and safer conditions at the cost of natives are another.  

 

USA is unique.  In the past most immigrants came to the USA and were PROUD when they attained citizenship.  They waved the US flag.  They taught their children to be American's.  Not that they were ashamed of coming from outside but they came because they thought they were immigrating to a better life for them and their children.  They are assets to the nation.

 

And today MOST immigrants (legal and otherwise) still hold the dream of a better life.  Most immigrants work hard and are honest.  The problem is we have some who come because it is easier to commit crime and lesser penalties when caught than their origin.  We are a rich and open society making us easy prey to criminals.  Yes, they are a minority but it is becoming a bigger problem.  And many times these new immigrants do not want to assimilate.  They create their own enclaves where no effort to learn English is made and no effort to become financially productive.  Which is why many Americans want to regain control of the borders to admit those who DO come with the right intentions.  

 

What is funny is the people on this forum who would accuse anyone that wants border control of racism when Thailand does exactly that.  And the prisons the Thais hold overstays in are not pleasant. Heck the new one in Florida is luxury compared to some in Thailand.  But then anything done under the approval of Trump will be attacked by the rabid haters who don't care about reality.  Truly our political divide is vast today.

Actually compare to any nation that has any sense.  Control of who enters and stays is crucial to being a nation.  And yes people accuse the US of racism for doing that.  Weird.  The current situation is very sad.  Millions of people entered the USA during the Biden administration based on the hints that they could stay.  Now millions are learning that isn't true and those who chose to not attend their scheduled hearings are criminals and being deported.  Very sad.
