Chinese Tourist Robbed of 20,000 Baht by Transgender in Pattaya Hotel

Featured Replies

Normal work seems to be off the cards and polishing a horn once or twice is also not the favourite job assignment by the third gender ....... Well, the Chinaman certainly has some stories to share once he hit the land of rice and red flags again 😉

That's why he reported the incident. 20k baht and he didn't even get sodomized.

  • Some folk will never learn.....

  • Adding to the myth that Pattaya is a safe and friendly place to bring the family.

Is it common at any time to leave tens of thousands of baht just laying out in the open, say on a table? This would never occur to me to do even at home and certainly not in a hotel room.

Especially with bootie bandits at large

What did the Chinese man expect, a bouquet of roses from the ladyboy?
A promise of eternal love?

Large hands gripping his hips and a rectal reaming.

When will they learn? And when will the cops stake out beach road to catch this person? He/she might wait a night or two, but they will be back there within a week for sure.

Of course, how such activity as prostitutes, foreign, local, female, transgender, hanging out on a major thoroughfare in a family resort, can happen, heaven only knows. 🤷‍♂️

To be fair, this wouldn't disqualify it. A family wouldn't need to worry about getting into this situation.

They might worry about dad popping out at midnight to peruse the offering of prostitutes openly available and seemingly operating without fear arrest. I mean, how clever do the cops need to be to clamp down on prostitutes in the streeet?

Thought they have to hand over there identity card to reception if they enter a guests hotel, and do they not have cctv in the lobby.

Hardly enforced in most hotels, and straight guys who take a chick with a dick from beach road (probably the worst place you could choose to choose one) are more likely to evade this procedure due to embarrassment. Having said that: if you're going to bring a ladyboy home at least use your brain a bit - hide all valuables, cash in the safe, have exact amount you intend to give "her" ready and nothing else available to poach. Good practice with ANY stranger you bring home, especially from the street - bar girls are less likely to steal because they know you know where they work.

I've had this happen before (with real ladies): went to the bathroom, they went through my pockets. The smart ones only take a couple of bills and leave the rest so you'll think you just spent it, the stupid ones take it all and dash out. I try to limit the amount of money I carry in pocket and no repeats for stealers. Also good to not be drunk, but that's easier said than done. 😆

Kind of makes sense if they have been forced into this type of work due to lack of better employment possibilities. Sure- there are some with degrees and normal jobs, but the majority cannot get a good job. Add to that the costs of surgery, hormones, upkeep, etc and even a normal salary isn't enough anymore. So even if they don't like sex that much or aren't into straight men they still work because the money is good. Lose-lose for everybody but it is what it is.

Once the victim has gone elsewhere or back home, there is no need nor means to bring charges.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of year 2000 maybe 2001, my pal Terry (RIP) brings along first timer to Thailand Nick.

Terry and I had been to Thailand a bunch, we're having beers in Karon, Nick says I'm taking a walk to watch the sunset at the beach. Knock yourself out bro...........

When Nick returns, he announces to Terry and I, you know,,,,,,, there are girls giving BJ's on the beach..........hahahahaha, those aren't girls Nick and did they nic your wallet!!!!

That might be the case on the country side; urban areas like Udon Thani or Nong Khai is screaming for staff, be it waiting on tables, 7/11s etc.

Yeah, and then the old rule - spend only money you have and if you need to revamp your entire body then get the cash first.

I do not blame anybody but many Thais, not only the 3rd genders, are not too keen working for money 😞

Often people stay in Pattaya for a couple of weeks. Enough time to identify the culprit?

The need is that the next week there will be a new victim. So there is a need to stop them.

As to means, if there isn’t time to bring a case to court, we all know the police could “black ball” an individual if they wanted to do so. Arresting them for prostitution every single night would be a start.

Or, just turn the other cheek and forget about it till the next tourist turns up to report theft. Who cares if another sex tourist gets ripped off..

Last I heard, there is no prostitution in Thailand. It's illegal!

I knew there was a flaw in my argument 🤦‍♂️
