The Thumbs Down Syndrome

Featured Replies

You are supposed to discuss topics. Handing out thumbs down non stop is pathetic. You do it daily as do many others.

You do NOT know who is giving you the thumbs down which you relish in and boast about!

There are certain idiots who hold a grudge and stick a thumbs down on any posts by the person they disagree with/dislike.   They will put it on posts they don't even read, they will put it o

How about this???....putting a thumbs down  automatically opens a text box into which you must post a response of no less than twenty words.....otherwise the forum is locked for you.

Sometimes I see an OP pathetically lurking on his own post. I often think he is keeping track of who is 'recently browsing'. If only one person is 'recently browsing', and an emoji suddenly appears, then the OP knows who did it.

Sometimes you do. Ive seen the same name 12 times. I also know you dish them out too. Whats worse is people not discussing the topic. 5,6,7 posts in a row nothing to do with the actual topic. Typically 2 or 3 are discussing a topic then along come the trolls to discuss other posters rather than the topic.

The emoji do not suddenly appear in real time except on the screen of the sender.

I responded with a like to your post above with two computers showing  the page of your post and although the emoji pops up immediately on the screen I click on it does not show on the other computer until the screen is refreshed.

Once again attacking another poster. You never discuss topics.

Not with you as that is a pointless task.

I can prove it with a new topic. I can start a topic on food then watch the thumbs down emojis appear plus a few negative posts that arent related to topic but just an attack on the OP (a stranger). Its bizarre behaviour.

Show me a link where you discussed a topic with more than 1 sentence.

Perhaps you should take a very hard look at yourself..........:whistling:

And why you have to keep rejoining.........:whistling:

Which proves my point. You are not here to discuss topics. Just another personal attack on a stranger.

Yeah and never seen 1. Thats why you can't post a link.

You cannot watch them appear in real time.

The Thumbs Down Syndrome

someone with a knowledge of psychology, explain

Perhaps admin could post the members who posted the most thumbs down emojis for the week

Similar to that of the popular contributors.

I can watch the off topic personal attacks. Real time? Takes like 1 second to appear.

What's your favourite hobby. Lets have a topic on that. See who can discuss the topic.

Why............🤪

I think they should bring back the sad emoji. The thumbs down is basic disapproval, but as you say it appears on the oddest posts. Often, it is a simple statement of political leaning. An expression of dogma.

Yes but true. Look at your last 10 posts.  Two words on this one followed by dots. It is just childish in the extreme. Obviously not here to discuss topics.

As I said, take a looooooooooong look at yourself, then do it again......🙄

5 words. Why can't you just talk like a normal person? Nobody else write a few words followed by dots 80% to 90% of the time.

Good idea. Show the top 5 most negative posters.

In that case, if the OP is so desperate to know who is giving an emoji, he can lurk on his own post and just keep refreshing the page.
