I’ve a good bicycle, one of the folding types, which is in very good condition and very little used. I got it a long time ago and used it at the beginning, but when Covid came I stopped using it. Also, I live in Bangkok and it’s not the safest of places for riding a bicycle, so I mainly stopped because of this.

 

Does anyone know of a good charity place that would be interested in taking my bicycle to give to some poor family? Ideally if it could go to some countryside area where possibly some poor children could use it for going to school. Also, it would be much safer there for them to use it. My big requirement though would be that whoever wants it would have to come and collect it from me where I live in Bangkok; I cannot deliver it ……. but they will get a free bicycle! Would appreciate if there is anyone who could help find it a good home with some poor people who would need it. Thanks.

In Bangkok, they mostly work in the Khlong Toei slums, but they have projects in other areas too.

 

They will send a van to collect larger items if you ask them, and they have local collection points around the city.
