What Thai cities float your boat?

Nong Khai is a fave of mine. Riverside boardwalk  often hosting events - morlam shows, uni girls volleyball tournaments (!), crazy breakdancing, long walks. Bar street with euro food, Irish pub with the best breakfast I've had in T, crazy temple, international train to Vientiane when you crave decent bread and French food. Udon Thani 30 minutes away for a change of scene.

  • I hope it sinks with you in it. Just a rehash of your previous topics!

Wow, Susan! Another amazingly creative new topic from you and this one’s another masterpiece. Bargain basement depth with redundancy as the main course and a dash of dumpster diving. Truly groundbreak

  • So you can't discuss the topic. Always the way with you. Just a troll. Why do people join a Thai forum then never discuss Thailand? So strange. Not so difficult to talk is it?

Chumphon and Ranong stole my heart when visiting for the first time in 14-15 years here. Beautiful nature, untouched beaches, friendly people like over a decade ago and super reasonable prices everywhere.

Too bad there isn't really a expat bubble there yet, it would get too lonely for my liking else i'd move right away.

My territory is halfway between the two.

There’s a small expat community at Thung Wua Laen beach.

Chumphon is also the gateway to Koh Phangan and Samui via a high-speed ferry to Koh Tao.
