Pattaya area International School recommendations.............

Looking to switch from EP to International school for M3 student starting next school year. Been checking out St Andrews, Regents and MIS. Looking to get the kid's English skills improved beyond her already acceptable level. Also math and science.

I'm tired of seeing the kid spend days completing bogus art projects. Want to get the kid ready for International Uni

Take a look at Rugby, best school in the area by far.

Rugby school probably the best.

Also up there Regent and MIS.

MIS if you want to save a bit of money, it's good value.

St Andrews is a good school but it's over hour travel each way from Pattaya only negative.

That's the one school my kid dislikes because of the kid's on football team they played against. I went there once for a game and that school is ginormous.

Rugby is 920K+/yr. Those 4 schools are the ones I'm looking at. My kid has played football with those schools and MIS was the one I was thinking about. As you stated it costs less.

Did your kid's attend any of these schools?

Yes, 2 of my children.

Send your child to MIS, you won't be disappointed, I have nothing negative to say.

Great school, teachers and students 👍

Rugby is no more expensive than Regents, Rugby quotes an all in cost for the year including dinners and snack, school trips etc. Regents quote a base cost and then everything else is an extra.

My kids used to go to MIS, its a great school and fantastic value in the early years. IGCSE wise its still a little immature (which is why i moved them, more specialized teachers at earlier ages and smaller class sizes) . Sport at Rugby is way in front, the facilities are 2nd to none.

If you can stretch to the top end of cost then Rugby is the way ahead, but MIS does offer decent value.

I've worked at both St Andrews and Regents. From what I saw, both are top tier. Regent's buildings are old and crumbling, St Andrews facilities are much nicer though as someone mentioned it's a trek to get there.

I've been to Rugby for a football match. It's size is impressive. Thanks for your input.
