You are being played for a fool.

Here is an excerpt from one report on this nonsense:

---------------------------------

Here's the problem: Gabbard’s memo is trash.

It cites as evidence several intelligence documents from 2016 that she declassified. But these records have nothing to do with that assessment that Putin preferred a Trump victory. These documents noted that Russian efforts to penetrate US election systems—which had occurred throughout the nation in 2016—would not affect vote-counting. Moscow probing of election boards was a matter of great concern to US intelligence and the Obama White House, but it was an entirely separate subject from the hack-and-leak and social media operations perpetuated by Kremlin operatives.

The documents Gabbard issued had nothing to do with the question of whether those covert operations were implemented to help Trump. She was pulling a disingenuous sleight of hand, conflating two different intelligence topics. (I explained this in more detail here.) And subsequent investigations by special counsel Robert Mueller and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (when it was chaired by then-Sen. Marco Rubio, a Florida Republican)—which each had access to much more information than the earlier intelligence assessment that Obama had ordered produced quickly in the waning days of his presidency—confirmed the obvious point that the Kremlin’s attack favored Trump.

This is what the GOP-led Senate intelligence committee reported in 2020:

The Committee found that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian effort to hack computer networks and accounts affiliated with the Democratic Party and leak information damaging to Hillary Clinton and her campaign for president. Moscow's intent was to harm the Clinton Campaign, tarnish an expected Clinton presidential administration, help the Trump Campaign after Trump became the presumptive Republican nominee, and undermine the U.S. democratic process.

It’s hard to believe that Gabbard and her henchmen and henchwomen at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence made an honest mistake by using intelligence reports on one subject to challenge the finding on another. They can’t be that dumb.

What we have here is Trump’s top intelligence official using the spy services to manufacture a blatantly fake case so that Trump’s DOJ can investigate and perhaps prosecute Trump’s political rivals and critics, including a former president of the United States.

This is all so Soviet.

Bondi's Weaponisation Working  Group has nothing to with these ludicrous demands from Cotton.

Even if this goes anywhere it is the Office of Special Council that will investigate and at the most issue a reprimand.......save your tissues.

Unusual legal maneuvers that circumvented the 60 day rule could be considered Election interference.

There’s absolutely no evidence showing that Putin preferred any candidate. Stupidity to even go there.

Good frik’n grief already, what else is new? The US, China and yes even Russia are constantly meddling in each other’s affairs and politics, nothing new here except that the left weaponized it on their own citizens creating an inversion of lies to go after their political opponents.

A simple minded conflation, a typical leftist tactic of magnifying a small part of a very large picture.

Is citing Rubio somehow supposed to some sort of an attempt of validation? Muller was a political hack through and through, crucial information was withheld from Rubio.

It’s remarkable that many on the left still believe that Trump is a Russia asset.
They are really that dumb.

What we have here is the current top intelligence official exposing Obama’s corrupt cabal of power hungry filth and shenanigans that used the intelligence agencies to spy on their political opponents and blatantly and overtly used those tools to thwart the will of the American people and go after their political enemies.

Which is to say "in character".

Let's try this...

"John Durham, the former illegal rightist/repub" gave DCI John Brennan and everyone in both the agency and the bureau---save for one low level bureau agent---a clean bill of health for their part in the Russia investigation.

Did I play Whataboutism as well as a MAGAnista? Do I get an Associates degree from Trump U ?
