Commissioners serve 4 year terms.  William Beach was nominated by Trump in October 2017 and confirmed by the Senate in March 2019.  He served his 4 year term.  After his term ended, President Biden nominated Erika McEntarfer in July 2023.  She was confirmed in January 2024.

 

Here's what William Beach (again, this was Trump's Commissioner, who was not fired) said of Trump firing of Erika McEntarfer....
