Hi there, I live in an estate in outer Bangkok where the wifi reception has been very slow to stopped for the last 2 months. I've tried several different providers one that I normally use and another I purchased last week. My normal wifi is very slow whereas the new wifi opens but the programs won't open. I also have a condo in Pattaya where there's 200 units. The wifi there is moderate especially as so many people live in the confined area. My wifes phone seems to work ok as she's on Facebook and Youtube 24/7. She's not on booze or drugs but she's totally addicted to anything online. Rather cildish for a person going on 70 yo, she just watches s**t and learns nothing, she doesn't even know how to use an antivirus program.

What's your question?

Actually, tell us more about your wife, are you on booze or drugs. 😂

I assume that you are talking about communal WiFi.

These WiFi transmissions are always poor, buy yourself an unlimited sim card.

Have a nice day 😎

Do you have a router by a company or use a hotspot? Where I live I'm a few hundred meters away from the nearest router but they won't give me one, so I use AIS as my hotspot on my phone, which works okay but not very fast. The router will give you a better connection if you can get one by your provider. As far as your wife, she's doing what most other women do here, live on their phones all day.

It's unclear if you are referring to WiFi or a mobile data connection to your mobile service provider's network.

Do you have to select a named network and then enter a password to connect?  Then you mean WiFi.

If you're referring to the same data connection that you use wherever you are... then you mean a mobile data connection... not WiFi.

You said you purchased a new service last week.  Did you buy a new sim for your phone or did you have True/3BB/etc install an internet service with a router?

Please clarify which type of connection you need help with and what device (phone/computer) you're using.

Sounds like he is just using a mobile network and rather than changing network, simply buying new packages on the same network 😊 or just buying packages with a small amount of data, it running out and then throttling. States that he's tried several, but describes just two. Confusing.
