Pattaya police are searching for two foreign men who fled the scene of a motorcycle crash in Jomtien late night on August 11, leaving three people injured.

The collision occurred at around 23.50 on Jomtien Second Road, towards Sukhumvit Road. Emergency responders from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation were dispatched to assist the injured.

At the scene, officers found a black Honda PCX motorcycle, registration from Chonburi, lying damaged in the middle of the road. The rider, 17-year-old Paramin Charoensap, suffered head wounds and facial injuries and appeared dazed. His passenger, 20-year-old Rungtawan Chansuk, sustained a head injury and multiple abrasions.

Nearby, another motorcycle, a Honda ADV with registration from Chonburi, was found damaged. A large clear zip-lock bag containing cannabis was discovered at the crash site. The pillion passenger, 19-year-old Omsap Surinram, was injured, but the foreign rider and another foreign passenger immediately walked away from the scene.

Witnesses told police the PCX was travelling straight when it made a U-turn at a pedestrian crossing, moments before the ADV, carrying three people, including the two foreigners, slammed into its side.

Ms Omsap said she had been riding between the two foreign men, who she didn’t name, when the collision happened. Both men left her injured on the road and disappeared before help arrived.

Investigators from Pattaya City Police’s Dong Tan substation collected evidence at the scene and are reviewing CCTV footage to determine the cause of the crash and track down the foreign riders for questioning.

Case closed. They know the cause of the accident. Illegal U-turn by the PCX(obviously not "travelling straight").

@norsurin Cannabis is not illegal, so what does that have to do with anything? They might have run away after being threatened. Who knows?

You just seem a bit too quick to apportion blame to the foreigners, but have made no mention of the actual cause of the accident.

U seems to defend every foreigner whatever they doing wrong.

Stupid foreigner. There’s your answer. Now let’s hope all future accidents that involve guilty foreigners and locals are solo in a barbed fence and not injuring the innocent and their property.

@norsurin Please provide proof of that or simply 'wind your neck in'.

The article states that the PCX turned at a pedestrian crossing, so no one would be expecting that. The onus is on the person undertaking the illegal action, to do it safely without impacting the safety of others. They failed. Their fault.

Honda ADV riders should not have left the scene, but they obviously did not want to be blamed for an accident that someone else caused. Perhaps they decided to go to the hospital or clinic immediately.

Also possible. To be fair means to look at the whole picture. I take no pleasure in seeing my brothers and sisters hurt. The foreigners should also take responsibility for their part in it. Hopefully they all learn from their mistakes.

@novacova Please explain how you came to that conclusion...or are you just describing yourself?

The description was directed toward you. We’ll be monitoring the news of your entangled barbed wire suspension.

Some really hateful and seemingly permanently upset foreigners on this forum. You'd think they'd be happy living in Thailand...

Wherever you may be...there you are.

Get over yourself already with your fake pseudo white knightness, the ten year old girl disposition looks silly.

Correct @novacova Being nice makes me feel good. Being nasty makes you feel good. It's plain for all to see. Such an ugly, hateful character.  I maintain that is why certain types ended up in Asia.. Buying themselves a partner was their only option, due to their unpleasant character.

Are you new in town. Why do you think that The foreigner,s who were innocent according to the witnesses fled the scene. If they stay even innocent they would be blamed for the all thing a d most important would be obliged to overcompensate the Thai victims and hand the helpful Thai police enough to stay out of trouble
