Well I have to agreee with Mike, the Superpacs provide the funding for both party candidates plus they select who can be a candate IMHO because they want someone in the power position that will keep the dollars flowing to the rich and powerful.  Been that way for decades too IMHO and continues to get down to lower and lower elected positions.
