Police and rescue volunteers discovered the body of a 47-year-old vegetable and fruit trader in roadside undergrowth in Tha Yang district, Phetchaburi province. The man, identified as Mr. Supharerk Klinhom, had been missing for two days along with several hundred thousand baht in cash.

Authorities found Mr. Supharerk lying face down in tall grass near a bend in the road at Ban Nong Wa, Wang Khrai sub-district. His Honda motorcycle and a mobile phone were found nearby, along with the cash in his satchel.

Relatives confirmed that Mr. Supharerk had left home two days earlier to conduct business but could not be contacted until his body was discovered.

Police believe the trader lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating the curve, causing the fatal crash. His body has been sent to the forensic department for post-mortem examination to confirm the cause of death, after which it will be returned to his family for funeral rites.
