I know every case is different but there are similarities.

 

How do these girls end up as bargirls, a job which is looked down upon not only in Thailand, but all over the world, and arguably illegal.

 

Is it a lifetime of laziness, lazy to study at school, lazy to get a real job, they just like sitting around in bars all day playing connect four, scrolling TikTok addicted to gambling and drugs? 
 

Or are they smart avoiding a lifetime of mortgages and being a wage slave which is for suckers.

It is dirty, dangerous work, brings shame on their families but is great money, 
Why save for a house when you can just find some stupid old farang to buy you one by pretending to love him?

 

I don't look down on them!

Not my choice of profession but neither is being a brain surgeon, so why would I look down on them?

Or go down on them, you don't have to look down on them just because they are too lazy to do anything else. Met a couple years ago with degrees who gave up jobs to work as bar girls

Thank you....I have a great deal of respect for them.

 

Probably had the s hitti**st of lives, little or no chance of furthering themselves after a certain age, then drawn into what must be the worst job in the world in order to survive.

 

Okay there is good and bad in everyone......but they drew, or had a short straw forced on them.

Tough life having to deal with shady farang to earn money for their family
