Trident 2 goes Mach 24. Minuteman 3 is Mach 23. The first Dark Eagle batteries have already deployed. But I think you misunderstand the term "hypersonic missile", when attempting a pissing contest. Its not a problem to make a missile go fast, which is what you seem to think its about. The challenge is making it go fast and be manouevrable. No one knows if the Chinese or Russians actually achieved these; they might claim, but its telling that when Russia launched Kinzhals at Western Ukraine, they all missed their targets. Plus Ukraine actually intercepted a few. Fast but no cigar, as they say.

 

Sounds like you are not a "Westerner", or don't identify as one. Which nation do you identify with, for clarity?

Despite the encouragement of Ukraine in the increasingly diminishing capacity to deter the Russian continuous incremental advances there is/ has/ and unlikely to ever be any timely provision of assistance sufficient to prevent the final outcome of Russian objectives.

More especially so given the announcement that Russian armament agencies have successfully tested a new airborne weapon  that dwarfs any known intercontinental weapon.

If true the historical deterrent factor has moved in favor of Russia due to the claimed incapacity for interception.
